  1. Completely agree, can see the 3rd line becoming the second line as well. Hopefully Horvat can keep up his F/O prowess, it'll get him into meaningful situations and help overall confidence. Bonino being a below average Faceoff guy doesn't have me too excited about him. I'm actually not excited about him at all.
  2. Plum has a good point. BUT. He has a mans body and a mans mind, why put him in Jr? He's already done that waltz. He's better off with the big club. Injury insurance if nothing else.
  3. As much as I'd like Iginla here, I love that GIF. QP really went off the rails after losing the Oscar that totally should've been his.
  4. Ok Stevie! It's the injuries and not the dummy dust he was caught with
  5. Of our 13 RFAs I'd keep Archibald, Sauve, Polasek. Then have Tanev, Kass and Schroeder on 1 ways. Year at a time for JS. Tanev will probably take another one year, and we should give Kass 3 @3m Cannata, Andersson..
  6. I agree with that. But, one of the first things I remember TL saying was that they want to roll 4 lines more, Which means us getting back to having 2 offensive lines and a checking line. The fourth line would have a few pk'ers. Hansen and Richardson. Everyone should be seeing 10-12 mins a game minimum. Which means Schroder could be an offensive 3rd line winger, and used on the second unit.
  7. The layout of the castle is in the title screen every episode. You can see the lift. We've been shown the tunnel (end of season 1) is a prime example. Jon spoke about sealing the tunnel. Those that weren't familiar were soon brought up to speed. Man as soon as a I saw a giant with a bow, I was surprised. That was my most memorable part, and how deadly Tormont is. Diappointment as that they didn't tack on a couple minutes and at least show Jons wildling reception. (meaning them at least apprehending him, or whatever is going to happen) I really think that would've helped the episode.
  8. Some posters seem to think he'll clear waivers. He won't. Tas comparing Schroeder to Dalpe just screams some bias or dislike for Schroeder. Freak injuries and poor development aren't his fault. He did what his coach asked of him and broke his ankle twice blocking shots. Maybe his new coach will have him on the PP and use him on the rush like he's accustomed to. You're forgetting Schroeders pedigree and strength. WJ scoring record holder and amazed at his combine. *SIDE NOTE* Any updates on him at all?
  9. An impulsive 14 yr old that just saw her father being killed probably goes through every emotion known to man. Thinking and doing are two different thing my friend. Sansa clearly had a thought but didnt act, regardless of who intervened.
  10. Hodor Hill, you're striking out left right and center. Also, for someone to really bring it to you, you're walking the spoiler line.
  11. Because it was 3:44am when you posted, I'll forget all about that. You're one of my favorite posters dude, c'mon. Qualify him as depth and keep him on our 23 man. He watches from above OR he's 2nd unit PP and top 6 fill in. He has core strength galore. Broken bones are freak accidents much of the time. Both of his injuries were from pucks. It's not like hes getting clocked, JS is slippery and strong.
  12. Jaime during the Viper / Mountain fight was some delightful acting. For some reason I really noticed him and liked that entire scene very much. Definitely one of the scenes from the books I was looking forward to and it was perfectly executed.
  13. 15 years and 3 regimes ago.. It's interesting reading what informed minds think, waay less interesting reading what the average fan thinks. Personally, I'd like to forget which part of North America a player is from and just draft the BNAPA. See? Not interesting.
  14. Please no more spoilers! This isn't just any story, its Game of Thrones. Please be courteous and cut it out. I'm pretty far ahead in the books and I want everyone to see it at their own pace, as I have been. When the HBO series is over, spoil away... until then "Don't be cruel" THANK YOU.
  15. The last bit, about up-tempo... in your face style is spot on. We were right there in December. But then.... what? Altercation we don't know about? Santo going down? The mojo was lost and we've been reeling. Gillis sounded very passionate and I have no problem with him being our GM. Kesler @ 5 is such a bargain, we need a guy to compliment him and have a youthful 3rd line. I think JT is one step too arrogant and Gillis seems to be off setting that with his humility today, or in this interview. Knowing the way the world seems to be trending... Ownership will make the wrong, heavy handed decision and we will never know what could've been, kinda like Gillis' NHL career.
  16. MERCY!!!! He has the 5th most points. JG is no leader of men. Hopefully he becomes something more, but right now he's just lovin the country club.
