From Cheech's farts to eating elephants. This is the next evolution of CDC!

I actually didn't mind Tocchet. He did pretty well here and gave us good meme material as well.
Allvin looks like a deer caught in headlights and Rutherford is just detestable.
"I'm just too honest"
Shut the f@#$ up.
JR - "I'm going to try to shut up and talk less"
CDC - "Oh yeah!? Well shut up!"

The team has changed that tune real quick as well.....
The fans don't lace them up.
It was a couple of random November wins for a below 500. team.

Almost 2 months ago (to the day) we won a couple of random November games against Colorado and Vegas. It was a surefire sign that the team was "coming together" and had a real chance at making noise in the playoffs.
The fans changed that tune real quick lol

The major surgery needs to be JR and PA being replaced with professionals.
Any ideas as to who that could be? I would be open to it but only with a logical replacement

Pretty much. They're in an enviable position really. Some good prime aged talent, plenty of young talent, oodles of picks and prospects, cap flex.
If they find a way to fit some savvy vets onto their D, bolster their bottom six, and find themselves some stability in net I could see them making the playoffs sooner than later. They're in a good spot to get better going forward.
The idea of Horvat is a good fit for the Sabres. They definitely need more defensive/two way forwards. Horvat seems to be viewed that way around the league. I'm not sure the reality of Bo is a good fit in Buffalo. PA/JR wouldn't be interested in what they'd be willing to give up. (I wouldn't think)

He's gotta be pretty much untouchable you'd think, Dahlin up front or not. He's a young 1OA with size, you keep those. He also plays both sides if I'm not mistaken? You'd know that better than me.
He's still best on his strong side but he plays in all situations. Having either him or Dahlin on the ice at almost all times is going to be quite the luxury for them.

Horvat is a luxury Buffalo doesn't really need though. Tage Thompson is their 1C and has 60 points in 44 games and Dylan Cozens is their 2C with 41 points in 44 games.
If anything Buffalo needs to beef up their defense and bottom six, scoring isn't their issue at all, they need to address keeping pucks out of their net. They're 2nd in goals scored and 5th on the powerplay but they're also 24th in goals allowed, 26th on the PK, and 25th in shots on goals allowed per game.
If anything keeping Power will benefit what's currently a weakness going forward.
Buffalo has been my second team ever since I was a kid. I follow them fairly closely. If they moved Power for Horvat the Canuck fan in me would be over the moon. The Sabres fan in me would be absolutely furious lol.

Not sure if this has been posted or not.
Huh... Sergei Gonchar? There's a name that I haven't heard in a while. I used to really like him as a player. No clue what he's like as a coach

Not sure why as the President of the team, you wouldn't know your own coach's terms.
Yeah he didn't directly make the hire, but at the very least you'd think he'd be up to date with that especially when it came to the offseason and he admitted that he was unaware.
Agreed. They biffed that whole situation. I’m just unsure if it was on JR or Francesco. Could have been a situation where JR approved of signing him for the year and ownership just threw in the clause without telling JR that they were going to do so.
I have witnessed owners of other businesses that operate that way so it’s possible.

Yet, he's been bashing him since he was hired. That doesn't make sense.
JR seemed to be unaware that Bruce had the option of staying for a second year. It doesn’t sound like it was his intention

The disagreed on the how the rebuild would proceed, implying that all believed it was a rebuild, which it was.
“Rebuild” seems to mean something a little different to everyone. What most people are meaning by “rebuild” the Canucks have not even begun to do at any point.

Source?
Aquaman went out of his way to mention rebuilds when “thanking” Linden for his time here. He said they were a slow process and that everyone needed to be pulling in the same direction.
He didn’t do this just for fun. -

I was expecting to lose tonight, but it sure sucks seeing so little character or pushback. Especially on Gino night.
Did John just fart?
He was commenting on our defensive play tonight.

They did. Tampa burned us on mistakes and no goaltending to bail us out.

Nope! Why? Does it remind you of John Garretts' farts?
