Confession…I don’t mind that the Canucks have generally been bad for the 50 years I’ve been a fan. l like rooting for the underdog. It’s like cheering for the Bad News Bears. See y’all on the flip side…

I always read his posts in Charlton Heston’s voice. -
After a night to sleep on it this still sucks. Reading Vintage’s post this morning made me cry before coffee. Losing this place is a gut punch but starting over with ZERO warning points is PRICELESS! would love to see LaBamba, kingofsurrey, desi and a whole bunch more of the banned in the brave new world of Canuck love

It finally happened. Sad.

[PTO] Olli Juolevi with Coyotes

To the posters that cannot get over the former NHL GM that drafted this player, maybe just punch yourself in the junk every time you fantasize about him. It’s beyond boring to see the same dreadful takes on every thread endlessly. The bogeyman is gone, get over yourselves.- 71 replies

At least give him a face wash and make Bieksa mean faces for the cameras. -

Yes, of course. Kevin Bieksa, highly educated meathead seems to have done alright for himself. Perhaps the poster you are responding to feels that if players go to the sit for 2 or 5 minutes in your safe place space would be a better way to setlle a testosterone fuelled score. -

They are not playing tiddlywinks or marbles though tas. They are getting paid $7,000,000 a year to contest a game in the best/toughest men’s hockey league on the planet. Act like pros, not kids playing road hockey. -

Hey Ted. QH is obviously a star player and I have and will always love the Canucks so definitely hope you’re right. I’m just leery of bland ‘oatmeal’ captains like Gradin, Naslund, Sedin and Horvat. I’d like to see a captain with a bit more fire like Smyl or Linden. -

Great player. Not my choice for captain. it feels forced, like the Luongo captaincy. Like they named Quinn captain in a bid to tether him to the franchise a bit more to keep New Jersey from poaching him. My other thought is that this is a tell. That Petey is not long for Vancouver after this season. I’ll still cheer for him and this team, but something is off about this whole thing.
