Pettersson being a potentially elite player should have zero impact on whether or not he gets a letter on his sweater.

Letters are much more than being good at hockey. They're about being a good leader, knowing your teammates and how to extract the best out of them, and knowing to use both actions and words to get the team to perform better.

I see Edler, Sutter, Tanev and Bo all having a chance at the A.

Edler and Bo I can see being the most likely, but they might alternate between the 4 players like last year after Burrows was traded.

Bo....plz....not Edler. It doesn't strike me as though he really has the room. A lot of guys have spoken to his tips/guidance, but he doesn't strike me as the type to give a rousing speech between periods when the chips are stacked against us.  I could totally see Horvat being that person. Bo leads by example with his word, play, and community work. I do think the other guys look up to and rely on him.
