Every team has bad games and every goalie has off nights. We're a very injured team, some guys are playing more than they should be, most of the team had a poor game and Nilsson had an off night to cap it off. Laying his capability as a starter at the feet of one off game is silly, especially considered how our D played. He could have played out of his mind and we likely still would have lost.

Every team and netminder has bad stretches. Luongo has let in 7 goals multiple times I'm pretty sure.

I actually liked that they left Nilsson in. Some of those goals were stinkers, some were the forwards' fault, and some were just bizarre flukes. I feel leaving him in the net conveyed to him that Green and the team still had faith in him being able to pull it together. Not Anders' best outing, but getting pulled would certainly damage his confidence.
