    Guy always had all the tools, his issues were always between the ears. Looks like age/maturing and staying consistent is working wonders for his game.

    Putting up INSANE numbers in the OHL this year. Not much hype yet but he can emerge a star out of this tournament.

    He has made some progress this year yes, but you're making it seem like he is ripping it up at a PPG pace and demolishing everyone in his path. I am sure he will be a solid bottom 9 player (even just for his size and skating ability alone). HOWEVER, will he live up to his 6th overall pick status? Doubt it. The difference with the top end guys is the hockey IQ. Not something you just acquire overnight at the age of 23.

    Veleno and Laffy together looks insane on paper. ELITE offensive juggernauts. Assuming they want Foote with get the puck and make space for the 2. I hear he has an excellent shot too.

    So frustrated with this situation. The kid has been scratched for the majority of the games and is basically a 7th guy. Having him gone for a few weeks does nothing to the Islanders.

    It was 1 second late. Don't worry, in no time there will be a zero hitting policy implemented in the NHL. Trash talk will result in a hurt feelings interference penalty as well. All teams will also get a participation award at the end of the season, regardless of final standings.

    Late hit, yes. An interference penalty, MAYBE a 5 min major, not a suspension. Laughable.

    Releasing him for a few weeks wouldn't prevent him from collecting his NHL pay. I'm also pretty sure it's a dream of any Canadian hockey player to represent this country on a big stage. Anyway, mute point now.

    Hypocrite and completely fake. Calls out Colby for being fake, but Colby became a heel to stay relevant. This guy is cringe and fake naturally. He is also know with with cheap moves (faked the nut shot with Colby) since his days on TUF where he grabbed the fence and denied it (was caught clearly on camera).

    Yesssssssssssssssssssssss. Those are our top 2 centers right there. Any news on Dobson? He has been scratched for the majority of the Islanders games so far. Would be surprised if he wasn't loaned as well. Dach is currently on the 4th line with the Hawks so hoping for him too, but he is least likely.

    That is awesome news. Arguably 1st line center for Canada.

    I don't think that's how it works for Wahlstom. Just like Veleno didn't get invited for Canada (was on the roster last year and would be an obvious lock right now). Both are playing in the AHL and I believe would have to get "released" by their respective teams.
