Simmonds will fight ANYONE and always sticks up for his teammates. He may not be the offensive player he once was but he has the heart and grit that every team needs. I assume you being a Canuck's fan, it's hard to understand that concept.

None of those are fighters or an intimidating presence. Guddy had that. Ferland has that (to a smaller extent) but his concussions will derail that style of play. No one else. This has been a problem with Van for countless years.

Have you played a physical sport at a competitive level? Intimidation factor is huge for 95% of players. There are rare excepts with some players with no fear mindset, but it affects the majority.
