I hope Fantanberg is ok. But when we are healthy, would like to see Ferland on the that first PP bumper spot. He excelled there with Carolina last season.

I just hope Tkachuk screws the Flames with his contract situation, that’s all.

Mike Del Zotto got a ring.

I saw the picture of the names that are on the cup for the 2019 Blues and Del Zotto’s name was on there. Not only did he got a ring but his name is also on the cup.
The rules are the player has to meet one of the two conditions to get his name on the cup:
1). Play 40 more more regular season games with the club
2). Play at least 1 game in the Stanley Cup Finals
If one of the conditions were met, the player’s name is automatically on the Stanley Cup.
However, there are exceptions. The maximum number of names to be inscribed on the Stanley Cup per team is 52, that includes players, coaches and managements. If after all the players, coaches, managements and other staffs name are put on the cup and there are still spots remaining, a team can request to have players who did not meet the conditions to have their name on the cup. Once approved by the league, their names could be on the cup. Del Zotto was reportedly having a great attitude in the locker-room through our the playoffs and prepared every game day like he was going to play. So the Blues rewarded him with a name on the cup.

I am not concerned about the loss tonight. If we have any sort of goaltending, it would of been a 5-2 or 5-3 game. I like the depth in forward we have.

why are they playing like we don't have a system?
I am not concerned about it until we ice somewhat of a full roster made up of the majority of our regulars. I am all for sending both goalies who played tonight down to Utica as soon as this game is over.

I am more concern at the goaltending situation if one of our 2 guys are injured. I don’t trust any of the other minor goalies to back us up

If Markstrom/Demko in net we would be ahead.

I am so tired of the Trudeau adds.
He says he has helped the middle class. LOL
The first thing they did was to stop the income sharing. That cost my kids thousands a year.
Let’s not bring politics into a GDT. Do that at the Off-Topics talks.

Am I the only one to point this out that after this Boeser re-signing, Loui Eriksson is still our highest paid forward in terms of cap hit

7.5 million cap hit for 6 years is the ideal, which is a total of $45 million over 6 years. Structure it the following way (or similar):
Year 1: $ 8 million = $7 million signing bonus + $1 million base salary
Year 2: $ 10 million = $9 million signing bonus + $1 million base salary
Year 3: $ 11 million = $9.5 million signing bonus + $1.5 million base salary
Year 4: $ 5 million = $4 million signing bonus + $1 million base salary
Year 5: $ 5 million = $3 million signing bonus + $2 million base salary
Year 6: $ 6 million = $5 million signing bonus + $1 million base salary
This is a front loaded, bonus heavy structured contract. In this structured contract, Boeser would imediately receive his $7 million in signing bonuses. This could definitely help out his family's immediate at the current situation. By July 1st of 2020, Boeser would have already accumulated $17 million. $17 million received over the next 12 months period.
Boeser will become a UFA at the age of 28, and there is still a good chance he can cash-in on a big contract, especially if he gets to play with Pettersson and rack up a lot of goals over his 6 years here.

I hope the Canes plays the Leafs in the playoffs in a Game 7 situation. Where Gardiner decided to turn the script, putting up 3 points and a +5 rating, earning the Canes the victory and eliminate the Leafs.

This sucks, this is the first real good look we can get and see where he is at with the team and he gets injured.
