    I'm surprised Ferland chose Vancouver, glad to have him especially at 3.5M$ That is pretty reasonable considering what he has been bringing to his teams for the past two seasons.

    Barrie makes the Leafs a better team. He is a dang good player, but they wont be able to afford to re sign him. Probably happy to be rid of Kadri at this point

    Matthews has a career best of 73 pts and makes over 11. Dubas has really screwed up the market

    RoH for sure. Retired jersey? No way. Even though Bure was one of my favorite players growing up I still think its ridiculous that they retired his #.

    They are at least a playoff team, they can score some goals - but can they stop more? Not with their current roster, they need to ship out Nylander for some help in their own end. Those big contracts are going to hurt.

    For sure, and teams knew the situation the Leafs were in - completely cash strapped. Van doesn't -have- to get rid of him so the minors aren't out of the question IMO. Maybe a team would be slightly more interested if he was able to clear? If he is not shipped out I don't see him playing many games in a Canucks uniform this coming season without some injuries

    Decent depth guy, but not at that price tag. He will find another job but it's pretty unlikely that its for 4M Best of luck, Hutton!

    We can only hope. Trade him for whatever someone offers at this point I think, I don't see a spot for him on the roster moving forward. I think it would be difficult for him to beat out any of the current wingers with the way he has been playing.

    In shock, I am saddened by the news if his passing. You just never know when your time is up. As a father of young children this hits home. I actually enjoyed the content he provided and will miss his perspective going forward.

    I don't think it's very close, EP at .93 P/GP, with a shooting % of 19.3 finishing the season with 71GP Brady will finish with .64 P/GP, with the same # of games played. Dahlin would be the closest to EP playing all 82 games with 42Points for a rookie Dman, that's pretty impressive but I don't see it being enough to beat out Elias IMO.

    At least he will be exposed in the expansion draft.. we can only pray that Seattle would be willing to pick him up.

    Looks like they have two regular season games left, and are way down in the standings... Quinn might be here soon, will be fun to watch when he arrives
