    Just curious how you guys think about Kent Johnson and how he would mesh with Green. I see this as not a fit 2 conflicting styles of player and coaching

    Idk I thought that playoff run him and Petey had were unbelievable for their first time being in against a veteran vegas squad.

    Absolute shocker Tuch on Hughes all series long, and Hughes didn’t answer it well unfortunately this is like the 10th time Hughes has made the playoff there isn’t any more time to improve and adjust for the future his career is nearing the end. Tragic really.

    I don’t think you blow it up. The core is great you just keep building and switching around it till the core doesn’t work. It ms hard to win a cup there is now 32 other teams trying to win it and to be as consistently good as them you have to get a big hull for your core players

    So you Genuinely think if they changed teams it would be the same thing Makar would’ve shown the same improvements and Hughes would’ve shown the same regressions?

    My guy I was disputing the argument that Makar was far better than Hughes and put them more neck and neck. And than pointed out of course Makar stats look pretty look at his team compared to Hughes…. Not sure how you came that conclusion but it’s start to seem like you didn’t even read what I put…

    I think we are going to have to agree to disagree here. Hughes is phenomenal and gifted and still growing his game. And Hughes and Makar situations are completely different.

    Their team is better. By a large margin. I’m sure if Hughes was in a system where they’re playing offence more than defense like colarado and have a better core of player and have depth and have a better coaching systems and have a goalie that’s up for the Vezina. MAKAR WOULDNT LOOK LIKE THIS ON THE CANUCKS! he would have the plus minus just as bad as all the other canucks

    Far better is a stretch I see it as neck and neck with a slight edge to Makar but I’d like to here you elaborate on how he is FAR better

    Yes his work ethic was top notch but did you see any of his limited play time with SKA? He was a play driver and a good playmaker. And his shot ain’t to shabby. Trust me we are still yet to see Podz full arsenal.

    I’d just like to point out Cale Makar isn’t what Colorado is centered around but Hughes in Vancouver is if you think Makar does what he does on the Avs in Vancouver you are sadly mistaken

    Taylor Hall is a win win you get a hart trophy type player or you get the 1st overall pick

    I don’t think it’s unrealistic. Just point at toronto and Edmonton and Buffalo and just ask if you are okay with losing as much as them if not take Boston like deal and let’s build something.

    My point was the only top d you see at 6m really is second contract D which is around the normal area for them. Poor Klingberg he needs to fire his agent

    Top pairing D on their third contract get somewhere between 7-11m if you look at a list of contracts he’s honestly right where you’d expect him to be
