i think the team is dealing with an internal cap this season

but that is speculation (though well considered on my part)

they are selling it all on the basis of the canucks will go with youth this year

and will therefore spend millions under the nhl salary cap

i'm guessing the internal cap number is between 65 and 70 million

@coastal.view exactly, he 's now in the position to spend wisely. interviewing good younger players with a few seasons under their belt ,rather than older one's that want term that don't fit with the 'plan' ….no agreement on the offer ...next.
