Caught that little chat on the bench - it looked almost not friendly between Boes and JT -

That was a hard game to watch Not much under the entertaining column The whole team looked totally flat footed and uninterested with the exception of maybe Bo, Gauds and Jake and maybe Quinn I'm not a fan of Greens blender Best batch the holes and turn this ship around or prepare for another disappointing season. I'd like to be in the locker room and hear what the players are really saying

Was checking through reddit and found an interesting tidbit - s'posedly after the game last night vs Stars Bo stayed out on the ice to sign autographs and take photos with some of the military. Someone from the military said he never left the ice until all of the military did and how much they appreciated it. Things we don't hear about - makes you wonder what other good things we hear nothing about. The Avs - I think it will be on hell of a game. I'm not 100% convinced we can pull this one off - maybe though. And like many of you - play MacEwan - he's here and he sure as heck can't be worse that LE. And speaking of LE how long do you think it is before something shakes loose there - he's not really hurting the team but he is holding a roster spot. Gonna get interesting when Rous, Motte and Ferland come back

you heard Green - 25% - 1 in 4 power plays produces a goal and I believe he went on to say our PP was functioning at 25% So I don't know maybe that's why and maybe not. Hard to be too decisive about Newell Brown. I'm not 100% convinced I would have given him a contract - if I were in JBs' shoes.

What's wrong with BO? Well once last night when he got to the bench I saw him pull his glove off and was checking his hand - not sure what happened there . In an interview somewhere in the last week I remember him saying he felt his best playing 19 to 20 min. And I am sure he feels he isn't producing like he would like to. Stop the Edler bashing - the man plays hard minutes. No one seems to appreciate him until he is hurt and not in the lineup At the beginning of the season so many of us were excited to watch our young team grow, learn to play in the big league, build chemistry, win battles. We wanted fast entertaining hockey - are we not seeing that for the most part? No - last night wasn't a great game but it certainly had some great moments. The bottom line is we can't win them all - we aren't going to score on every PP and we won't be 100% on the PK either. But playing teams like Dallas, the Blues, Washington etc - the heavier teams is a learning lesson for the young guys. They will learn - they will grow and hopefully soon become "one of those teams"

That may appear the case now - but all those minutes will come back to haunt in the long run

I think Benning has assembled a good supporting crew around our young core - fun to see Bo, Boes, Petey, Gauds, Demko, Jake and Quin growing together as a team. What an exciting future we have. I am proud of our team. And look at what we have coming up - Hogs, Podz - and yes I know they haven't played an NHL game but we hear lots about them. Our farm team was off to a great start too - Olli, Rafferty - the list goes on. And as much as I hate losing - I expect to lose some games - our young stars and learning - and they are learning. I didn't expect Demko to be as good right of the hop as he has been. Anyway enough of this rambling - great game. Entertaining and kept me glued to the TV GCG
