The Shark Tank - not a friendly place When you look at the standings this should be an easy game - but past experience says there are no easy games in Cali. Don't take the Sharks lightly. No Quinn sets out power play back a notch or 2 - funny how that kid turned that dismal PP around so quickly. But best he heal - take your time - it's a long season. We all saw the game - we outplayed them for most of it. Ducks are a big heavy team . 3 on 3 is pretty much anyones game. We have 3 out of 4 points on this road trip and 2 up for grabs tonight. Hope the Sharks are bagged. Like some on here - I think the game winner was Gibson - great goalie And for whatever reason - we just didn't seem as connected as the Kings game - our passes weren't as crisp - lots of fumbling the puck - yada yada -lets take that point and move on

Haven't been posting much in the GDT cause I've been glued to the game - and the PGT - well after the game I am done for the day. So I have had all night to think on this. The best part of the game for me, after the "winning it" , was Petey getting physical - I loved his runs on Martinez. The more the team plays - the more you see them coming together and feeling comfortable. A great time to be a Canuck fan. The season is early - we are looking good and I am hopeful we continue to put together points and grow as a team. "A team like that" is just the kind of team we wanted. I suspect Green and Bomber are monitoring closely - I'm sure they don't want this young star burning out. The signs will be there if he is tired and doing to much. Like Petey they need to learn what a grinding ordeal 82 plus games can be. I think Quinn is smart enough to put the brakes on and say - hey I need a break. He's a smart kid.
