@MJDDawg if Dahlin is really that good and a "generational" D, then the price is going to be a lot higher than just Boeser, whoever gets the 1st oa is going to demand something ridiculous like Brock + our 2018 1st and probably our 2019 1st and maybe a roster player or take back a contract. Its a lot to risk for a guy thats never played an NHL game. 

@Jimmy McGill Absolutely Jimmy. I was making more of a general statement about the value of franchise d-men in general and if there were an opportunity to look into getting one, that Benning wouldn't be doing his job if he weren't considering all options...even if it meant trading Boeser. But you're right, it's highly doubtful we could pull it off.
