    Sorry every time I read about how great Tanev is the argument is always how many shots he blocks...so an exaggeration by other people but I have been watching the Canucks for 40 years and I have never felt Tanev was a defenseman who did anything at an elite level he's always been horribly over rated in my opinion

    Tanev has led the league in blocked shots how many years? That doesn't scream great shutdown defenseman to me that screams spends too much time in his own end...

    I think the coaching staff as a whole needs to go. Never have been a fan of Noel or Baumgartner, their 'systems' make me constantly shake my head, and I am so frustrated with Travis Green I don't even know if he is an NHL coach anymore...

    Lol all the Devil's fans are pissed this morning. They were all convinced that PLD was being traded to them for Pavel Zacha (a 4th line center at best!) and the immortal Will Butcher (3rd pairing defenseman) ohhhh and a bucket of pucks....it's the Jersey version of Ballard and Raymond! Lol

    I wouldn't be surprised if the fact JB asked everyone to wait while he figured out he OEL deal that never happened may have left a bad taste in a few players mouths. Sucks but that's the price we pay I guess...

    I think letting Taney go was the right decision at this time, yes he's been great here but his game is in decline all those injuries adding up. Honestly think Calgary is going to regret this one...
