  1. In all seriousness, Michigan commentators called him the Q. I’d say just go with what he’s already used to.
  2. Guys, we want Caufield. Think Debrincat but with an even higher goal scoring ceiling.
  3. John Chayka, I cannot thank you enough. Please, never change.
  4. Remember the Human Eraser? Well guess what... HE'S BACK!
  5. I knew when Ehrhoff left we wouldn’t be back to the finals again. He was great here. Made us such an offensive juggernaut at the time. We were the Barcelona of hockey playing a possession game that no other team in the league had an answer for...until Boston. God I still miss that team.
  6. He played wing in the U18 World Juniors this year and was one of the best players on the US team that won Silver. He was more noticeable than Jack Hughes in the tournament.
  7. Honestly, I wouldn't be upset if we picked Caufield at that spot.
  8. Going to game against the Stars on the 30th! Really really hoping to see Quinn fly.
  9. I have finally warmed up to the idea pf drafting caufield. Seems to be exactly the type of player Benning would be after.
  10. CAN'T WAIT CAN'T WAIT CAN'T WAIT! It's finally March!!!!! WOOOOO HUGHESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. If Tanner can return to just 80% form from before his injury, we should all send Gudbranson flowers and love letters.
  12. Holy crap you are scary as hell when you play tough man, you bring an element to the game that we are in desperate need of. Keep it simple and play to your strengths and I think everyone here will absolutely adore you.
  13. Welcome Linus! Just like many other prospects before you (Including our golden boy EP40), you're going to have to prove everyone here wrong again! Excited to see you defy the odds! Don't worry, they'll all come to cheer for ya in due time!
  14. I’ve been watching Lavoie a lot this year. That JV comparison is not accurate at all, lol. He definitely has a place on this team. His hands are great and he has a sniper’s shot. Would be over the moon if we somehow landed him in the first round.
  15. Lol, u guys realize this is the kid that set a reminder for himself that he was CUT from the Canadian Junior team then worked his way to become the undeniable #1 for team Canada the year after right? You are absolutely correct if you think Mikey will remember last night’s shelling for many nights to come but it will be for the best and the next time we see him again, be ready to be wowed.
  16. I wanna see this kid do the Gaudette route and win a Hobey Baker next year. It will do wonders for his confidence and he could use a liftle more time to grow into his frame. He is going to be a great player for our future and we need to handle his development properly.
  17. I should feel bad but I don't... I'm a bad person.
  18. Both Quinn and Jett dominating tonight and we win 5-1. Can tonight get any better?
  19. When Guddy decides he is going to make certain teams pay the price physically, he is worth every penny. Trouble is, I think even Guddy will agree that he hasn't played his best hockey in Vancouver. Where is the issue and what is the disconnect? Is his role not being clearly defined? Compounded injuries leading to an inconsistent physical presence? Trying to change the way he plays? I have no idea at this point. We all see that he is capable to be that big intimidating character, but more often than not the willingness is not there. How can we get Guddy to unleash the beast more frequently, or will we truly see his final form come playoffs?
  20. What do you mean when you say you were right about Juolevi? Please explain. You seem to have a strong negative opinion about our defensive prospects, I think we would like to know how you drew your conclusions. What about Quinn's play do you see not translatable to the NHL? If you're talking about 2019 WJC many here will agree that he was not asked to do much more than play a simplified game that focused on zone entries/exits. If you watch him in College hockey he plays a much looser, rover-type style and the points speak for themselves as to how effective he is there. I think essentially we are almost all in agreement (If you actually watch Quinn play) that he can skate at an elite level, think Hockey at an elite level and most importantly, adapt a playstyle that incorporates all of his tools to be as effective as he can at any level, against any competition. That is a sign of maturity to me and a very good indication of a high end talent for many years to come.
  21. Nothing to be ashamed of Mikey. You reminded me of Jonathan Quick, very impressed. Keep it up man we have high hopes. Gold medal doesn't compare to a Stanley Cup Ring anyways.
  22. Ahhh I remember him being injured for several consecutive seasons in a row in his early years. I think he was pretty much constantly dealing with injuries in his prime years because everyone made him a target... I hope that isn't the case for Petey but I am starting to understand what Pittsburgh had to go through and it really sucks... Get well soon Petey we miss you already.
  23. I think I am starting to understand how Pittsburgh felt through all of Crosby's early years...
