    Ovechkin has a higher goals per game rate than Gretzky! Played 96.6% of all Washington’s games since he was drafted! Amazing.

      @Coconuts  Gretzky's career was effected (likely shortened as I think it was the beginning of his back injury woes) as a result of a cheapshot crosscheck by Gary Suter.  *SAME* Gary Suter that shortened the career of Paul Kariya with a similiar type cheapshot (start of Kariya's concussion issues).
