  1. thats green post conference. "I thought we played a good First" "the game was a lot closer than the score shows" "with some puck luck we we could have buried a couple more"
  2. i have a question for you, and please don't take this seriously. seattle's best coffee, is medium. thoughts?
  3. he is #1 in the league inn PPGA/60 for all players who have played 30 or more minutes of PK. Hamonic has played 59 minutes. just lucky?
  4. that photo definitely ended with quinn telling luke to take a shower. #brotherlylove
  5. after force rotating all our best players, it would become a little obvious we were tanking. I believe the most I would do to force the situation, is ask of green to remind players that they can take a day off if they feel they could benefit from it. we already have been accused of losing on purpose once this year. Making a mockery of the league will definitely come with a full dose of karma
  6. so you rather fight like spoiled brats to all to see? like i said that shirt suits you!
  7. Spicy Chicken Vegetable soup

1 Fresh chicken meat(I use alot, but this could be substituted with kidney beans or tofu), browned until pink is gone on medium/low heat because lazy. seasoned with masala and pepper(cover the chicken until its mostly red, add about half as much pepper.)

one onion diced, sauteed with vegetable oil, add garlic 2 cloves to 6 cloves (depending on how annoyed i am with my neighbours) and ginger (1/4 of a small root) to taste.

bring broth to a boil i use a powder and add to taste.

cut up 3 potatoes, a carrot, a celery root (for color)and half of a fresh chile pepper

add vegetable/chicken mix to boiling broth

squeeze 3 tomatoes into broth, cut or tear flesh and add to soup.

taste soup and add lime, honey to balance the bitterness of the chile.

simmer for a while ~40-mins (i usually reduce my broth substantially until its more of a stew and add cold water to enjoy sooner)

when serving soup, ruin it by adding crumpled saltines on top.

realize you made way too much soup. eat soup for breakfast lunch and dinner until finished

    1. Angry Goose

      Angry Goose

Kudos for the vegetarian version.  I add nutrional yeast for a 'chicken' soup like flavour/broth

if there was ever a echo chamber I wanted to be a part of, this is the one!

  8. did you just quote my post from 3 weeks ago to prove you have a agenda against me? thats a rhetoric question enjoy your world where a injured beagle is a desired contract.
  9. yeah feels like the automatic response of "we take these accusations very seriously and are investigating, no further comment at this time." should always be the choice. the other response is a well known tactic that the "accused" use in questioning but also could be coming from a angry honest person too. the response is fairly typical of what we see on this forum these days, which I too have been guilty of more than a non-zero amount of times.
  10. or maybe this players story was very sad indeed. He may have had a real rough go after being subjected to the assualt, threatened with punishment for not joining in and gas lighted by Chicago management that this actually never happened. but sure, he could be a sociopath set on revenge. but more likely a assaulter that has the courage to strike once, has the courage to strike twice and so on and so on.
  11. every unprotected rfa/ufa player in the league unsigned is available to seattle during their exclusive 48 hour window pre-draft. saying this now seattle has a huge advantage over other team's in the reinhart sweepstakes. they have potential to make some crazy trades with exclusive access to every unprotected player in the league. heck we could and should be making deals with seattle for these players too. seattle will know which players are available before the lists are even submitted. we can potentially trade up by exposing schmidt/myers and trading for a player they have access to. you could make a trade pre-final exposure list with future conditions in place that ensured everyone played fairly other scenarios would be exposing schmidt/myers as long as they trade for roussel(maybe with retained salary) I would be all about exposing one of these 2 get rid of a bad contract. If I was Benning I would be sending mega welcoming baskets to Seattle's GM, and following up with some serious trade talks.
  12. what are the odds seattle signs reinhart in thier 48hr window? sabres cannot match
  13. who was the one person who doesn't want clark? this person has to be a troll. anyways voted for keeping green and clark. but I would not be sad if green lost his job lately I have been seeing interesting changes in lineups and strategy. (yesterday? I ate 3 pounds of dry paint to try to erase my memory, i still see everything) whoever is responsible for the dumping the puck strategy must go. is brown also the offensive coach or is that green? baumgartners I dare you to make a play strategy is not working. everyone is rewarded for just cycling, eventually our d will make a mistake and the team will get a great chance or 2. our d and o strategies are so consistent that the other teams can plan, adapt and consistently dismantle us every game. get the center to hold the blue line with the D every once in a while, punish the forwards who dare try to carry the puck . and god dang it forecheck the pointman, i could care less about the side wall guys, but causing a turnover at the line often turns into a great scoring chance. on the power play allow the puck carrier to skate with the puck, rotating the forwards into a new formation and hopefully getting the D to chase and open up the slot for some high scoring chances. the best goalies only save 58% of the shots from in the slot. the one timers we go to are much easier to save. also is now a good time to talk about schmidt on the second goal of the game? it's definitely not, but that was the biggest fail i have seen in a long time
  14. we dont need a winger right now, if they want virtanen roussel and a 1st id do it, otherwise pass.
  15. I may have worded it bad but his play did improve from the beginning of the season, 2G,2A in -4 in his last 19 games. his low point was probably at game 14 when he was scratched. benning decided on seeing if gaudette could improve on his playoff season, I would have done the same thing. there was likely little interest in him preseason when you could just sign soderberg for a mill, or literally have the choice between 102 RFA'S not qualified these are just the decent 24 year olds carter verhaeghe 1 million duclair signed for 1.65 mill dominik Kahun signed for 750k lucas wallmark signed for 950K jayce Hawryluk signed for 875k mark Jankowski signed for 700K no one would have gave crap for gaudette preseason there was literally only one time to trade him where we would have gotten better value. that was last year at the TDL and I'm guessing that there will be better RFA'S not qualified again next year. Gaudette if he gets a contract will be signed as depth, i'm thinking this is his last year in the NHL.
