  1. haha it's a joke, maybe your unaware but the stereotype is that they are famously reserved, the joke was that we could throw them off thier game with some personal questions. haha, i should know better to make light of a situation, too many people get offended over stereotypes that aren't even remotely offensive.
  2. nords? if they start dominating the play we can just make things extremely uncomfortable for them. like asking them questions like "isn't the weather great lately"? or "How did you your weekend go"?
  3. Desperate times call for desperate measures. a few well placed mirrors and you won't miss a thing.
  4. i may be a conspiracy theorist on this take, but I feel overwhelmingly certain that Media is strongly influenced by what is said through social media. in the coaching poll there was a statement about green that was asked by Ian Mac. we were complaining about getting young players into games, the media asked those questions within a few days. quinn hughes playing time, etc.......................................... like minded thinking? or is my tinfoil hat too tight?
  5. you may be right. or team owners may make a example out of him. if the guy seriously worked on his issues with a therapist, he would have a better shot IMO. at least the GM can save face if he trainwrecks again. Edit: it can take years before someone realizes they are the problem. and it usually takes a few years of therapy to correct those issues.
  6. https://www.cnbc.com/2019/04/08/the-science-behind-why-so-many-successful-millionaires-are-psychopaths-and-why-it-doesnt-have-to-be-a-bad-thing.html You don't become a billionaire by being a righteous person. I don't think that's a good idea for anyone to learn proper behavior from a Billionaire turns out DeAngelo was not so easy get rid of , 30 teams passed on him when he was on waivers. from what i understand about the situation was Deangelo couldn't take constructive criticism from his teammates, and to put it nicely made it awkward. He's not a team player
  7. I'm just spit balling, Hav'n a time. i thought as a big bodied RHD thats cost controlled and didn't have atrocious numbers on last place Buffalo, he might be of some value to our team. i'm a big supporter of quality depth Players, Better have a plan C in place than rely on waiver fodder.
  8. I'm not so egotistical to think that I @petey_BOI is some super influencer. if the team doesn't improve Jims going to need all the support he can get. Mob Rule is a thing
  9. I really hope we can improve our bottom 6 next year and pot some goals, significantly. I would be pretty upset if we didn't make a serious shakeup. Maybe I'm wrong, and it's all a series of unfortunate events and possibly has a lot to do with our gameplan. Jim may get a pass this year, but if our bottom 6 scoring doesn't improve substantially, I'm not going to be defending him.
  10. I believe in second chances more than most. If this guy comes out with a report that he has been working on his self confidence and anger issues with a specialist, that might change my feelings. There are about 3% of the worlds population that is extremely resistant to constructive criticism, Tony may be one of those people.
  11. i think graovac would be a fine AHL veteran signing, but not my first choice for 13th forward. if Ryley Sheahan is not resigned by Buffalo he would likely be signed as a depth forward by most teams. I would overpay to land him which is really like 900K.
  12. thats good news for everyone, I imagine people with two shots will be allowed in for entry, maybe a single shot would be sufficient.
  13. he is a cancer, not good for a rebuilding team. i'm pretty sure he started a big fight with some of his teammates.
  14. i valued borgen as a upgrade from 4th to 3rd pick, sheehan is indeed just a throw in. he would be a top notch depth player
  15. this is the best thread right now. my imagination is going wild!
  16. i agree on Bjugstad he is a big question mark. He had a very serious Injury similar to Eichel's (spine related) I like the idea of signing a stop gap, makes sense to me. lots of dollars coming off the books next year. if sutter comes back too , would you consider signing Sheahan as depth? or would it be better to say resign Graovac?
  17. i know you've been big on Lowry all season, what are your thoughts about Bjugstad? https://www.hockeyfights.com/fights/139925
  18. 2021 1st, motte, DiPietro,Bailey,Roussel,3rd 2021 For Reinhart,Borgen and the rights to Ryley Sheahan
  19. that first trade is perfecto! the second trade I believe is a tad too opportunistic, my initial offer was no better. how about 2021 1st, motte, DiPietro,Bailey,Roussel,3rd 2021 For Reinhart,Borgen and the rights to Ryley Sheahan
  20. if we don't end up winning the lotto that's ok. I heard from a very reliable source that Vancouver is Eklund's preferred team to play for. E4
  21. wow so negative, how about 28th best!!!! sarcasm aside, I think Luke is the best of the Hughes. if we select Luke, no complaints from me. if we get all three we could give our opponent our best HueHueHue's
  22. please, we need @debluvscanucksin the stands. that cow bell would easily gave us a few wins. i miss the fans
