There needs to be a change. It’s hard, you can’t trade everyone. I still blame Benning. His excuse as to why he couldn’t resign Toffoli is embarrassing. Everyone laughs at our management.

I think most of us are frustrated because we know we are stuck for the year and a lot of money is not even on the roster and being used properly. Feeling stuck is terrible. It’s worse when you see general managers who have made smart financial decisions be able to add to a team because they don’t have bad contracts. We all know we are stuck with those bad contracts. There is no accountability for Benning. It’s leaving us with a bad taste in our mouth.

He's not a super emotional guy, it's just not his make up ... you won't see many outbursts from him. He'll shoot the puck harder or go back at a guy but he isn't the type to scream and yell. It does NOT indicate a lack of caring about the game. At all.
He was joking about Toffoli in his comments. His team has been losing badly to Montreal so far. I just don’t think they are appropriate for where they are at. I am basing it on what he said. If you want to defend him because you like him, great but the season is slowly slipping away. I guess your ok with that attitude and you can be but I am not.

Discussion is one thing but to gripe about Petey's response in a presser is taking it to another level. I guess he should've cried or flipped the table.
Again they are 3 and 7 against teams not named Ottawa. He should be angry. His play has been horrible. He should be upset. So ya it’s ok to show emotion that shows you care about losing to a team 4/5 times and where you haven’t really showed up to help the team.

Good argument! I am not going to be ok with losses if that’s what you want from people on here to be able to post. They are 3 and 7 against everyone else besides Ottawa. I know you told someone else yesterday to do the same thing. If you don’t like what we post, don’t read and respond to them.

This is what worries me. Elias Pettersson is joking about Toffoli. You have lost 4/5 and your making jokes. No leadership at all coming from the locker room with comments like that.
here it is:"What do you say, he should've scored some of those last year!" joked Elias Pettersson of the Tyler Toffoli thing. "What do you say? He's a great player, awesome guy. It sucks that he has to score those goals against us but it is what it is, we have to play him tighter."

How can people defend Benning?? You have to weight the good to the bad. There is more bad there people. We have tons of money that isn’t playing on this team. The player he chose over Toffoli is sitting in the press box. 2.5 million of wasted money. I really don’t think the owners know how to run a hockey club. You are getting slapped in the face by bad decision after bad decision and you still don’t make changes.

Had 40 minutes prior to play like this and didn’t. It says a lot about how hardworking our team is. Very disheartening.

Guys the scary thing is there is nothing really to force the owners to do anything. The fans aren’t at the games. They aren’t making money that way. They are also not feeling any pressure. It’s status quo until the end of the season. It could be a wasted year. We will hear after this game. I love our pushback for five minutes. Lol
