    Big day coming up, Canucks have a chance to potentially draft a massive part of their d-core in the 2nd or 3rd most loaded draft in 100 years, Simashev, Reinbacher, Sandin-Pelikka and Willander all possibilities, while a stud forward like Benson could fall to 11. Danielson is another possibility

    Random question. Is there some sort of rule against a team signing a goaltender that's just a dude so obese that he fills up the entire net?

      Ive had this question myself as well. Its an interesting thought.

       

      I've also wondered if you could just have Myers lie down to cover the entire bottom of the net, and have the goaltender not have to worry about low shots.

       

      These are the things that keep me up at night.

    Were Gorton/Hughes the guys who drafted Lafrenierre?  Now in Montreal they pick Slafkovski.  Two bustaroos

      Still seems like a lot of players get a bump in thier draft rank b/c of size (either just b/c of size, or b/c their size allowed them to push around the 15-16 year olds they played against). 

       

      usually doesnt work out.

       

      best picks have been based on hockey IQ which still seems routinely underappreciated, yet its those guys that end up being the gems/steals from late rounds.

      Many things were better with Loui. Still cant believe this ignorant Jeff Paterson tweet. Stats do NOT tell the whole story. Yes, each point Loui produced cost 6x as much than points produced by JT.

      But how much more happiness was produced by Loui? I daresay 12x or even more.

      That makes Loui's deal 50% better value than JT.
