So, you are saying that Eichel, who could not play hockey before his surgery and still has not, will have no recurring back issues, and will play at 100% of his past skill level, for the remaining time in Vegas..........and there was absolutely no guarding of assets by Vegas, meaning they had absolutely no doubts that Eichel will be all world again, and that Vegas did not low ball their offer to some extent, because of these issues and Eichel wanting out of Buffalo ............

    Sure!

    Right!

lol what a sarcastic tone! But dont see where the sarcasm exist.

Eichel is worth way more than Miller that's a fact (unless you are a Canucks fan on CDC apparently)

Why are you ranting like Eichel is a risk when he's about to play in a few weeks and you may start to sound like a big idiot then. Now that's the risk.

No point in changing coaches unless the new guy has the balls to put McDiver in the press box if he keeps refusing to backcheck.

? I thought McDavid backchecks all the time, at least Ive seen him do it last game we played. Not sure where your comment even comes from lol..

  3. .... The whole point of trading Miller is so we can lose salary to keep Boeser. Bringing back 6.9million back means we cant keep Boeser any way. So why not just trade Boeser to begin with and keep Miller?

And you think Toronto is going to trade you a ppg guy in Nylander plus for Miller who is also just ppg? That's not a very big upgrade to their Cup run because Nylander's pretty good and their most consistent forward the past 2 years.

Not many teams will take on Myers for 6million. And if we did that our defense will need to be rebuild and it is going to a while.

  4. Not sure I like this hiring... Been 2017 amature scout director since 2017, and Penguins has not drafted any NHL caliber player since 2017...

And the Penguins could easily compete for the cup this year, so basically he is giving up a chance at the cup again to be Vancouver's GM. Not sure I like that too much either.

Sure this may be true, but you don’t need size to be gritty. Tyler Motte is the best example.

..? Teams aren't going to say oh $&!# I better have my head up, Tyler Motte's on the ice. Nor will Motte be dropping the gloves.

Motte is great, I hate to keep saying this, but we need a gritty checking line like what Tampa Bay had with the Goodrow line. Dickinson was supposed to be a move in that direction that has failed miserably.

And when your supposedly gritty 3rd/4th line Highmore gets ragdolled by a 5 feet 9 Torey Krug? Yes there's a problem.

As Garland, Hoglander, Motte, Highmore have largely shown the past few seasons, its not about the size of the dog that brings success, its the heart and battle of the dog.

Size helps, but its not the determining factor. IMO, this team lacks players who can drive play consistently. Other than Miller and Garland, we haven't had enough guys contributing to that. I will take the battle level of these shorter players over players over 6'1'' but have zero brains for the game aka Nick Ritchie, Jake Virtanen, other meat heads with no hockey IQ or questionable effort level.

You need to think 1 step ahead. Obviously we are in this crappy stage where we dont/ are borderline to make the playoffs. But once in the playoffs, other teams have proven they cant win a series without grit like the Leafs, Lightning before their cups. We need to stockpile some grit now so we can hopefully make a run in the next 2-3 years.
