  1. I don't want to see Hoglander playing 10-12 minutes a night, I'm hoping he has a bounce back and can be the player I think he can. I like Lockwood as well for speed and tenacity. We still lack size and grit up front Hoglander-Miller-Boeser Mikheyev-Pettersson-Garland Kuzmenko-Horvat-Podkolzin Pearson-Lazar-Lockwood Dickinson pp1 when set up pp2 Horvat Podkolzin Boeser Pettersson Garland Hoglander Miller Hughes Kuzmenko OEL
  2. has zero to do about race, it's about the original story. Google it Tolkien wrote at the beginning of the 20th century, complaining that unlike the neighboring countries of Wales, Scotland, and Ireland, England had little mythology of its own. He wanted to create a mythology for his country and drew inspiration from Germanic and Scandinavian mythology and his fondness of Nordic and Anglo-Saxon culture.
  3. Literally all you and others need to do is google what inspired Tolkien's Middle earth. This is painful Peace
  4. Dozens among dozens of characters in the movies, plus thousands of extras and not a single race other than white were casted lol. Medieval Europe. I'm not obsessed, I'm explaining why I am right.
  5. Why are there no black, asian, latino etc characters in any of the books or movies?
  6. Brandon McMillan was the worst player I ever saw play regular shifts. Willie's boy Bailey at least has unreal wheels...too bad they're too fast for his hands and head
  7. About what? It says there are certain breeds of Hobits that had browner skin than the others... So like..more tanned? It says nothing here about black hobbits Nothing in the source material? Have you not watched any of the movies or read the books? There's not a single black or latino character(or background extra)...because it's medieval Europe... They are of Nordic and Celtic descent, again, in medieval times...far away from the African region. Now all of a sudden there's some random, token Latin Elf and some other black characters sprinkled in. Sure it's great and all but it's undermining the original story, that's why people are pissed Nobody cares about the skin color, it's about the original story and hollywood/amazon politicizing and ruining yet another great movies/series. Nobody caarreessss about the race. Get over it. I'm done here cause it's the same thing over and over again with you guys. Literally everybody is just racist and ignorant. Go give it a good review on Amazon why don't ya?
  8. That's crazy. It's been 30 years since we've played one of our biggest rivals in the playoffs.
  9. Weird, it's almost as though Tolkien never portrayed black characters before because he was depicting Medieval Europe, particularly Northern Europe.... A region in which black people had not discovered or been introduced to yet. Elves in particular are of Nordic descent... They have always been portrayed as pale with straight long hair, often blonde.. Again...No Latino people in this area. But yeah I know, everybody is racist. Got it. Definitely has nothing to do with the original story being completely gutted to appease the 2022 woke agenda
  10. I never said he was a great player? This is our go-to guy for the next 7 years and he makes more money than all of us put together ten fold, sorry I want him to be the best role model possible. Sorry for having an opinion as well
  11. That's Sat's opinion and that's fine. I have my own and that should be fine too, I shouldn't be labelled a troll
  12. I said he's a great player and I love his fire but he needs to clean up some of his actions... The man himself has even agreed that his actions have had negative impacts on his teammates. Literally the man who I am talking about agrees with me but ya'll are still getting offended lol
  13. My god, all I said was he has warts that he needs to get rid of. I actually played hockey Deb, no hockey player wants a teammate slamming his stick after dogging it on a backcheck.
  14. That's all I'm saying, the guy has fire and I love it but there are certain things he needs to learn that he cannot do. That's it that's all
  15. Okay maybe you're right, maybe they love seeing him get mad, drop his shoulders, start pouting and slow skate back to bench while the team goes the other way on a shorthanded chance. That's great for the team, you're right
  16. Yes because I don't want someone showing up their young teammates and acting like a baby it means I want them to just be emotionally dead like Loui E. You nailed it
  17. I am old school, I want big men who can fight, hit and play with passion. Trust me, I'm a freak, if we could sign Tom Sestito today....I would There are certain things you can't do as a leader though and he does more than a few of them. . And sorry but no no and more no. During the covid canadian division year the guy dogged it harder than anyone I've ever seen. He wasn't happy with the scenario, the coaches, the way covid was being treated or whatever, but the guy straight up gave up and didn't even try
  18. So you're okay with the F-bombs and door slamming, and when he doesn't get a pass he wants he can swear and stare the player down?
  19. Yeah I never saw Kes give up on a backcheck, not once in my life. I saw him get frustrated by the referees or by the other team, or if things weren't going his way but I never saw him directly get mad at a teammates expense
  20. I like his fire, he just needs to be careful going forward
  21. Correction, bang his stick and yell the F word when not given the pass he wanted on the Powerplay etc, throwing pucks up the middle then not backchecking, slamming the bench doors as hard as he can and sulking like a baby. Yeah I know how many players bang their sticks and he's done it more than any other Canuck in history already.
  22. Miller is a great player but his laziness and attitude is nothing to look up to for a young player. He has banged his stick, showed up his teammates and given up on the backcheck one too many times for my liking but we'll see if his child and this new contract turns him into a better role model and increases his work ethic I was probably 70/30 on we need to trade him for futures
  23. McDavid is godly with how quick his hands are, Mackinnon is close behind in that regard. In terms of soft, silky, stylish mitts though you might have to give it to Kane now that Datsyuk is gone, with Kucherov being closest behind in this regard. Honorable mentions: Barkov, Draisaitl, Gaudreau, Matthews,
  24. Of course it was coaching but what kind of window are you even talking about? The making the playoffs window? or seriously competing for the Stanley cup window? Did it really just take a coaching change to take us from hot garbage to cup contender?
