    Lehner thanked Roussel for getting him going and asked for more in the upcoming games. Finishes off his statement with... ’he’s just poking the bear’. Which grown man talks like that?! Lol! Time to light this guy up like we did Stalock and Binnington. We’ll do more than poke him.

    They were playing charades vs the rest. Rouss to Reaves....‘Chicken Little’ No wonder Reaves was imitating a chicken, he just went on and on cuz nobody got it.

    1 day off after a hard fought series, while Vegas had 4 days off. These guys aren’t machines, fatigue definitely was in play here. Hats off to Roussel for trying to spark the team. Can’t wait for game 2!

    Agree with Burke there, Canucks will be better next game. Jumping from one tough series to another with minimum rest. Nurse it in here boys, rest up and be ready to roll in game 2.

    So glad to see the team make all those amazing saves count for a big win. Boy is this team building one terrific bond.

    Our stars will rise to the occasion, just wait and see. Eriksson with a 4 point effort! Just buggin’, it’ll be Bo and Brock that will join in on the goal scoring.

    Spotlight is on the Stanley cup champs again, many already have them moving on to round 2. Perfect! Glad to be the underdogs again imo. We’ll see a harder working Canucks team today, and it’ll pay off with a result!

    Thanks for the temporary thread. I think the title should read ‘[GDT]...’ and not ‘[GTD]’ though. Canucks are gonna look sharp in their away jerseys! It brought them luck in the first 2 games, I see the same in game 5.

    In a way it’s nice to be the underdogs again and have most people write off the Canucks in round 1. Less pressure on the guys, they’ll perform better and steal 2 out of 3 from the Blues.

    Blues getting their tires pumped right now by the media and their fans. Fair enough, I think we did a bit of the same after game 2. That backfired on us though, I think it will backfire on them too. Just the fuel we needed after a loss. Canucks take the next one.

    So many people making posts like it’s all over. Far from it. We will make adjustments, we will improve and we will come out stronger. Back to square one, no big deal.

    Blues are looking slower today, they just lucked out on that PP goal. Their age is slowly starting to show. Canucks just need to use their speed in the 2nd and 3rd.

    Stech getting some heat since he was on for a few goals against. The guy is one of our smallest defenseman, yet he is probably the most feisty and is willing to take on Perron or anyone bigger than him. If you ask me, it’s the bigger guys like Edler and Benn that need to step up and match lil Troy’s energy level. That may help out our defense. Keep bringing it #51!

    We had a lot of guys that did not have their best game, yet we took the defending champs to OT and almost won it. Keep calm and have faith in this young team.

    ‘Maximum effort by the Blues’ as per Kelly. Hats off if the Blues can go maximum effort for 6 periods (or more) on back to back nights. (I doubt they will....)
