People need to stop saying to buy out OEL. It makes zero sense with what's left on his term and his contract structure. This has been explained ad nauseam.

The way Boeser is playing, especially against good teams, he isn't going anywhere because we can't trade him for any value unless we retain 50% min salary.

No one's batting average is 100%. And to the team or teams that have a great drafting history, they are very few. Objectively, Benning's draft history has been good.

Again, fans nitpicking based off of emotion of their personal bias of the current management. Lockwood and a 7th for a former lottery pick who's 23 and who hasnt been given a real shot is a W. Lockwood is 24 who has some injury concerns and has hardly cracked the lineup while putting up underwhelming numbers so far. Worst case scenario is this trade is a wash. This was a low risk move on our part so it's a good trade overall. So far, the players PA and JR have brought in have been good.

People love to nit pick every move we make no matter how small especially with their personal bias against current or past regimes. This was a great move while giving up nothing. It's pretty simple.

Its a great gamble on a player that hasn't had a shot yet while giving up nothing really. So great trade.

Reality is we would need to retain a part Boesers salary and take a marginal player back and maybe a 2nd or 3rd rounder.
