The direction of this current FO is pretty simple, it's to build around Petey, Hughes and Demko with good younger talent which align with their ages while also adding low risk high reward younger prospects who could step in down the road while still having our most coveted lottery pick in this upcoming draft. From PA's presser today, I found it interesting the players he mentioned as being key players going forward were Petey, Hughes, Demko, Kuz, Hronek and JT Miller. I think those guys are the core as of now.

Yup. The odds aren't great. Luckily we have our lottery pick which is all that really matters at this point. We've brought in some nice young low risk talent that enabled us to be able to take a gamble of trading away our mid 1st rounder and 2nd round pick. I still think we should've only gave up 1 but I guess that was the asking price for a young RHD about to enter his prime years.
