Laughing at some of the returns people are proposing. Goaltenders historically don’t get great returns. Goaltenders who have a below average season before getting season ending surgery get even lower returns. Also just because teams are calling does not mean he’s being shopped. If he is, then management is probably aware of some unfavorable prognosis, in which case, trade away and hope the acquiring team has shoddy medical screening

Hmm, I agree to a point, but I disagree defensive issues are easier to fix than offense. As you say though, maybe getting the right mix of forwards will solve some of the defensive woes. I just don’t see an easy fix to shore up the actual D corps though, maybe a Bo trade facilitates that. I’m just losing faith in this management group fast. Like…almost miss Benning fast, lol
