    hmm should be interesting. it's rare for us to get thunder and lightning warnings. i still remember that incredible storm we had that one year right at the same time as the fireworks. some very cool pics that people took from that be safe everybody

    What a day ya'll. It felt like summer when I stepped outside at 7am! We took our team meeting out onto the patio at work. Hoping this can stay for a bit...after this crazy storm that we're supposed to get apparently

    It is my personal opinion that the Canucks are cursed and the hockey gods hate us. We've just had too much bad luck as a franchise. I propose that we all pray in the lead up to the draft in an attempt to swing the Gods in our favour. Otherwise we will drop to a lower spot in the draft and all this will have been for nothing. Please hockey gods, give us either the #1 or #2 pick!!

    Hockey is a business and the team had to do this. But they kept it classy and respectful and I have a feeling Burrows will be back with the Canucks, either just before he retired, or when he gets honoured by the team, or when he comes back in a coaching role

    Honestly. Brutal planning on the part of Environment Canada. People are totally unprepared and the roads are horrible. I'm cancelling my new years plans and staying in. Not worth the risk. Be safe everyone
