I'm sure Robben will be back very soon but I don't expect anything this season from Ribery. Anything would be unexpected at this point. What has helped beyond measure is the signing of Costa and Vidal.. more so Costa. Lewandowki had amazing feeds from Müller and Costa. I may sound like I'm all over Costa's nuts but I don't care.. that guy is EXACTLY what this team needed. Wolfsburg changed their whole defensive scheme to Costa and Lewandowki made them pay. And Lewa would have had 6 goals.. he was like 9 yards in front of the goal and has anywhere to shoot. Instead he makes a very considerate pass to Müller who came inches from scoring.

It was totally looking like Wolfsburg's game too. And Neuer's suicide play in the first half should have ended that half with a 2-0 score in favour of Wolfsburg. Pep makes several subs, one of which was Lewandowski in, and the guy just tears Wolfsburg apart. I think all 5 of his goals on first touch. He's had like 3 more beautiful chances to score too.. could have easily been 8 goals for him. And that's game. Who would have predicted this second half? And wow..
