Demko isn't going to land you that (at least not until he's played more than a handful of NHL games).

We’d be stupid to trade Demko for anything right now. He’s very clearly the future goaltender for us. 

So what would we have done if Demko's injury turned out as even more serious?

Or next yr(after letting some gt depth go), what if he gets another concussion(s), & appears injury-prone?

IF our tandem performs consistently for the coming months, are there other options we should consider? Perhaps Ian Clark will have them at a level they've never before been at? As our team-D improves, maybe goaltending becomes one of our team-strengths? Perhaps you can go with this tandem 2,3 more yrs, until Dipietro is finally leaving his ELC?

Why do we all assume another team DESPERATE for 'tending won't pay up, if we have a very good piece(& a surplus)?

I hope we'll weigh all options, as it's a league-wide scarcity, we just might exploit. It already worked for us once(beautifully) in landing Bo Horvat.
