    I'm not here to pass judgment on anyone. I will point out that Pete Rose was basically permabanned from baseball for gambling. Perhaps you trust that Tocchet is reformed and would never influence the outcome of a game for money. I feel that way myself. But I'm not going to call anyone crazy who may have seen a gambling addict ruin lives or a team. Gotta think about it.

    Dunno what you guys are on about but Horvat has 49 points this season and Miller has 40 in the same number of games. Seems Horvat does everything better, including offense.

    He for sure makes an effort to look like he hates losing. He yells at the goalie, he swears and bangs his stick on the net, agitated. A dramatic performance to ensure everyone sees that he hates losing. I would rather he put his head down and play hockey with his teammates like he hates losing.

    Can’t say I’ve noticed before, but Pearl Jam’s front man sure does seem to hate Boeser. Personally I think Boeser is a goal scorer, and every team that is successful needs one.

    I say if you can't sign him to a reasonable contract and no home run offers, keep him and see if you can go on a run in the playoffs. Then let him walk. He could be the rental at our deadline that lets us make a run. No cost other than opportunity lost, and if you happen to win the cup, well...
