A few things,, how bad is our defense when they struggle to make a pass out of their own end , when our number two defender is slow and would be a six on good teams.. we have had second and third string goalies play for most if the year.. our forwards dont know how to defend inside their own blueline.. this doesnt add up well… we do have skilled forwards who can score and are entertaining but im afraid if things dont turn around next year ( which is how long it would take with great coaching ) we will lose our best player who will get fed up with the losing. This year was needed to make the changes required to the team instead of chasing 16th place in standings. Gotta hang in there but at least the direction we are headed seems correct finally!

I think management is in a very unique situation. Flat cap makes it near impossible to move high salary players (plus, not like there is a market for over priced players at that). Gonna take a few years with good drafting. They need more size and speed (tochett said as much) so why draft a slower winger who is not a physical presence? ( first round) Stick to a plan please!!
