    You are asking why they give the best player in the game time and space. Pretty sure they are trying to keep him playing in his own end but he’s pretty tough to contain. Reminds me of when I took a young woman to a football game and had her say “why don’t they just run around all those guys trying to block them?” as in, easier said than done

    I didn’t mention Baertschi but he played very well. I was on board with him being sent down both times which was an unpopular opinion. He has risen to the occasion and played hard without complaint in Utica. He is a great asset to have in our back pocket when needed.

    It reinforced my life choices not to have children so there is that. Lol.

    I didn’t see as much of the defense. Was sitting close to the Marlies net for two periods. During the second period some numbskull squeezed 5 kids into the 3 seats behind me (the seats belonged to someone else and he refused to move them) who proceeded to scream, kick my seat and throw stuff at other people for the rest of the game so I may have gotten distracted. Haha.

    We really noticeably dominated at times 5 on 5. Gave up some PP goals to make it tighter than we would have been. Roussell was in fine form getting under their skin and drawing penalties and attention, as well as playing hard on the forecheck. Bring him up ASAP!

    Lind has definitely been noticeable on the ice. Fun to watch.

    2-1 for the bad guys but Comets have mostly carried the play. Rousell is playing with hustle. Haven’t seen much from Gadj but everyone is forechecking hard. Just can’t hit the net with the shots.
