  1. Oh you’re bang on i don’t think Det would let him go either but it doesn’t hurt to ask the more I think about it, Detroit may be willing to deal kasper if horvat is coming back the other way especially if Larkin does end up re-signing somehow to det: horvat to van: Kasper, Rasmussen, zadina/(insert any name you want)
  2. Props to you for posting the scouting report To me edvinsson is the prize out of Detroit as we have zero in the pipeline on D on the left side and right side. he’s a bonafide young top 4 D in the making edvinsson, kasper or rasmussen, zadina edvinsson and Kasper would be a grand slam home run but Rasmussen would be a great consolation prize if Det holds onto Kasper
  3. My thoughts exactly but apparently they’re still in the mix
  4. One team that we keep hearing but I can’t wrap my head around “why?” Is Detroit. unless they give up assets for horvat to roll the dice on signing him and recoup those assets by flipping Larkin untouchables I’m guessing are Raymond seider and maybe hronek considering the season he is having. so what’s left? kasper, edvinsson, Rasmussen, zadina, veleno and soberblom To van: kasper, edvinsson, zadina to det: horvat
  5. As per the 3 player mold for horvat to bos: horvat, schenn to van: debrusk, Carlo, lysell 2 wingers and a top 4 dman with a concerning injury history
  6. Players over picks is troublesome news but I need specifics before judging don’t forget he mentioned a grade A prospect/young player so we’re talking wright, lafreniere etc so that’s what I really care about is acquiring a CANT MISS asset
  7. To van: wright, wennberg, 1st pick 2023, 2nd pick 2023 (tor) to sea: horvat, Kuzmenko next year… miller-pettersson-BEDARD mikheyev-wright-boeser xxxxx-wennberg-garland Trust me bro
  8. Seems to be A LOT of smoke around the Canucks in the last week or so something has to give soon
  9. If the offers aren’t good enough why would they let him talk to teams? the Canucks would lose control of the negotiations if the agent started talking to teams
  10. I wouldn’t count out TB either with the cap gymnastics they can do
  11. Dumba isn’t the player he used to be so I’d pass on him minny probably has zero interest in boeser because of his 6.6m cap hit for 2 more seasons. they have 12-14m in a buyout cap hit for the next 3 years
  12. Damn you’re right…probably have to come in on Friday to find two top 4 defenseman too
  13. Guys, I think we have this all figured out canucks are gonna trade horvat for wright then Bedard is going to fall into our laps then we’ll have a 3 headed monster up front with pettersson, wright and Bedard I think we can all take the day off tomorrow…
  14. Stop going to the games if you TRULY want change, complaining about it online won’t do it but empty seats will.
  15. Not really sure what to make of his presser as he kinda contradicted himself throughout most concerning thing he said was he isn’t really looking for picks but actions speak louder than words so we’ll see the whole retool vs rebuild thing is a very open ended statement because define “retool” when you say you need “major surgery”….? in his defense, using the word retool now makes more sense vs when benning said it back in 2014 because he was dead wrong at the time and we’ve suffered for of it
  16. If OEL is a healthy scratch, that’s the kinda move that gets the attention of EVERYONE inside the organization especially the guy cutting the cheques Can you think of a player with a bigger cap hit being health bombed?
  17. That would be the most ideal situation but our owner has shown zero interest in doing that for some reason while buyouts are totally cool
  18. Looking at buyouts for this summer The guy who makes the most sense is Pearson not garland, myers, OEL or boeser even though I’m so disgusted for more buyouts and kicking the can down the road mentality I’m just saying if anyone is gonna get bought out it’s Pearson 1.4m for next year (1.85m in savings on the cap) 915k in the 2nd year
  19. Kuz has been more effective than any of us thought and he drives play which is a rarity 2yrs/6m? horvat, kuz and schenn all UFA’s Trade’em if no contract is in place…simple as that.
  20. Funny you bring it up, I was just looking at the top 10 and they’re all forwards so maybe the Canucks focus will be D 1st and C 2nd in a horvat deal BPA always but maybe in later rounds Canucks could take some wild swings on RHD cause it’s a toss up anyways
  21. Ya I was on the fence to add the 2nd rounder or not…The 2nd rounder can be the last of the 3 Seattle has to make it palpable for Seattle and Wennberg at 4.5m is moved in order for the kraken to re-sign Horvat which I think they have a pretty good shot being in a no state income tax state also the 2nd rounder is the interdivisional trade tax but the point is the the two Centers in the deal that boom solve the Canucks problem up the middle for at least the next 2-3 years
