    I am looking to buy a new smartphone.... any recommendations? Aside from iPhones etc..

      Oneplus line has really good specs for a relatively decent decent price. I currently have the google pixel 3 and am happy with it.. Would like more RAM, waiting to see what the next pixel is like.

      My Samsung A8 is pretty decent, but it's not new anymore. I loved Nokia and was very loyal to them for two phones in a row, but then I found I couldn't get one with a provider in Canada, so I had to switch to Samsung.

       

      On that note, with which provider did you get your Nokia, @Dazzle? Is that in Canada?
