Not a good end to his season going pointless in 3 games. But he still finished as the stats leader with 27 points. Ouch. His season with the Gophers can't end sooner.

I can compare any player to anyone I want. Just like how Canuck haters are comparing these late rounders to (Staphan and D Amigo) to Jordan Schroeder. Not sure wtf your so chocked about, and comparison's like this happen all the time. I Just wanted to see Rodin get more points then MPS because he was way too hyped by Swedish fans and Oiler fans. Am I really expecting Rodin to be a better player then MPS? No way. Would it actually be nice to see him get = or more points then MPS? Hell yea, he's their best player on paper. If one of your player can really match up to their best player and props to him.

Why so serious? Ok, you can enjoy the tourny your way. I assume you are extremely happy with the way Schroeder and Rodin is playing. Of course I enjoy the tournament, but I want our players to have a good tournament. To some extent, a certain level of expectations is required, but that's just the way it is. I personally expected him to be a PPG player. What? You going to hate me for that?

Yup, his team which is our Rival won 4-1. Rodin our superman had 0 points, didn't watch the game.... MPS his measuring stick had 3 points.

Disappointing season for Schroeder disappointing tourny so far for Schroeder. There is really no excuse for struggling, hes not struggling, but I did expect him to rip it up, LIKE 3 OTHER USA PLAYERS ARE. So what if he does not have Wilson or Van's Ryemsdyke. They are not on the team this year, is that the excuse? He needs to have those players around to rip it up? There are currently 6 players on team USA that have more points then him. Flat out more points, and i'm not counting the rest of the guys with 3 points. He needs to pick up his game. He had chances to rip it up against weak teams, and both times he actually failed to actually "rip" it up, like some other elite prospects do, not even elite prospects. These are the average prospects that Schroeder should be better then.

Finished the game with 2 shots on goal, and the only assist. 2 assist in 2 games this week. Dang, they are "barely" beating the worst team in College hockey.

Great goal tonight for Burrows, but he pulled a Willie Mitchell on Wild's 3rd goal.

Alot of Minnesota born hockey players want to play for the Minnesota Gophers. Wether his dad wanted him to stay or not, I really think it was Jordan's choice to stay for one more year.

Kevin Cannauton left after the season ended. Some fans are suggesting he just leave Minnesota right now, which I don't agree with. It would actually make him look bad just by abandoning the team not even halfway through the season. He is also the captain of the Gophers. Also Connauton's decision to leave had to do with Giants owning his rights and being drafted by Vancouver. Schroeder The Shredder will play this season out, and hopefully go pro next year, or join Everett.

Correction, not sure what stat box you guys are looking at, Schroeder had no points last night, and White had an assist, but Schroeder POINTLESS LAST NIGHT in a 3-2 lost.

You actualy don't have too even make a sheet offer. Apparently they can just say "we made an offer" and thats as good as it is. From what I know its the 55th pick for someone like Patrick White who was drafted 25. Patrick White is WCHA player.... do you mean drafted out of the NCAA or only NCAA players? I heard it applies to all college players....

By not signing him, San Jose will get a 2nd round Comp pick for him after his 4th year of College (Which is the deadline for college players). Some thinks this is the only reason why they traded Ehrhoff for someone as usless and as low in the debth charts as Patrick White was for the 2nd round pick which will be in the mid 50's apparently, but I could be wrong.

He will be there. He was there best player last year and that team also had James Van Riemsdyk and Colin Wilson. On top of that he was their captain. It's just a slow start for him. Kinda like what happens to Luongo every damn year .

anyone watching the exhibition game between Sweden Junior team vs Concordia University? Anyways a goal and 2 assist for Anton Rodin. Sweden Looking dangerous early on, actually this is a unfair advantage to them as they are playing as a team earlier then other teams. This gives them time to find chemistry. I think Team Canada should do the same.

As I recall, Gillis had Beach on his shortlist, along with Tyler Myers and Zach Boychuck , that we would have drafted with our 10th pick. Also Brian Burke wanted to draft him with the 12th pick, but because he was drafted 11th, Burke traded that pick. Beach might have some issues, but he is a good player.

Not bad, Taylor Matson also got an assist....

Calm down dude... I red it in the newspaper during the summer. There were rumors during the summer that he might join Everett, they said Gillis wanted him to join Everett but his agent said it was not an option. End of story. Hindsight or not, I was never a fan of college hockey anyways.

Shut out 3 out of 4 games. Good job Gophers good job. Schroeder should have listened to Gillis. Told him to join the Tips. Gillis probably evaluated the Gophers along with our college scouts and projected that, the team is probably going to be a weaker team in the WCHA this year. Lets hope the season can turn around, if not it's one year of wasted development for him.
