Sestito on the PP is saying something about our goal scoring (as great of a teammate as he is), but more importantly - WHO is going to waive a NTC to go somewhere? and as far as our prospects go, horvat shouldnt be traded (schneids was our biggest trade chip in many years) schreoder has no value, and neither do the rest of our prospects really. to make a splash you gotta give up talent to get it, just think what we would have to give up to get seguin or eriksson without waiving a NTC. without Santorelli, this team would be out of the playoffs

they don't want him to get injured and ruin the shot at being bought out.... really i haven't thought he was THAT bad, especially because their going to pay him either way, its almost like a keith ballard scenario. something more is behing the scenes i think, sitting a healthy player with the potential booth has just seems above and beyond normal... it sure doesnt look great on the canucks if they want to attract some good UFA's as well. you'd think that some team would throw the canucks a 7th for a shot at a rental - ESPECIALLY a team that hasnt used any buyouts yet.

There must have been some kind of backroom deal made to get Luo back on our payroll, but in return we had to give up Schneids and Hodgson - so they can be made to look like heroes when their time comes!

And if the option is between him and Jordan "frodo" Schroeder I would say YES. he's outplayed all of our centre prospects, and IF horvat makes the NHL next season, santo is still a great 3rd C, or the guy Horvat looks to outplay before being handed a spot. You know, that whole earning a spot on a 2nd line C on a contending team? That thing you mental midgets slotting Schroeder and Horvat in our 2nd line next season seem to ignore?

No. It's just early enough. Kassian up until now has only shown flashes if even touching hodgsons skill level - big man or not. He's a disappointment until he proves us wrong from here on out. Any other player and he woulda been written off as another bust 4th line signing... But he was traded for a guy playing on a top line now. We lost this trade HARD until/unless kassian proves he's more than a big bottom 6 winger

Wow... It's been stated but I think the 1st was unnecessary. Moulson isn't much less of a player than Vanek, in fact he may turn out to be better. I hope Vanek re-signs to be Tavares' finisher and Moulson shafts Buffalo for a team with some talent.
