He's never really fallen off being a 40+ point guy. It was his defense that fell off in the past couple of years. Regaining that would be huge for him and the Canucks. -
Tons of viable options. I'd say any of Pettersson, Boeser, Horvat, and Demko are the best ones, but I could see a case for Hughes as well. Really surprised that OEL has so many votes. Glad people are liking him though.

Can we give a nod to how well Halak played tonight? Super awesome to see him perform so well.

Honestly, a fantastic game. I would never have guessed we'd keep this game so close. Petey and Hughes make a huge difference.

I notice that Petey is wearing an "A" tonight. Indicates to me that he may be coming up soon when more veterans leave.

We'll probably lose this game given that McDavid and Draisaitl are playing. Hoping that Halak can get a full game in tonight. Hoping to see a chunk of cuts after this and only 2 or 3 final fringe guys on the roster for our last game.

Bad game overall, but I'm not gonna overreact. It's just a pre-season game. I've watched enough hockey to know how little a bearing pre-season games have on the regular season. Excited for Thursday's game and hoping to see more NHL talent.

Crazy that we're outshooting the Kraken so much. Only a few high danger chances though. Not a ton of finish, probably due to the lack of star power.
