    Sorry, call it a controversial view. or sexist..whatever you want to accuse me of?

     

    But I'm not on board, & will prob never get accustomed to that.(for NHL games, that is)

     

    It ain't pc..& I'm prob just old fashioned. In truth, miss a lot of the great hockey voices from the past.

     

    Going fwd, I'd prefer men always do this gig..flame away!

      Markstrom has allowed 5+ goals six times in 14 starts and has only allowed less than 2 one time, and of course no shutouts. Why not give Bachman a chance?

    Anybody else think NHL.COM sucks? It takes forever to load scores, box scores, stats, and the phone app is even worse.

    Unpopular opinion:

    Reduce schedule to 62 games, home & away with each team.

    Pros:

    -Higher calibre hockey due to reduced fatigue, injuries, over-saturation of games

    -More emphasis on rivalry matches 

    -Every point really matters from day 1

      20 fewer games? No thanks. I'd be ok with reducing the season to an even 80 games, but that's all. Want to increase the quality of hockey? Fold a couple of sunbelt teams and relocate a couple others.
