      Messier was one of the best players to play the game, with numerous point totals, cups, and a largely winning history.

      That stint he had with the Canucks hardly makes him less of a better hockey player.

      You can hate him for his time here in Vancouver, but the man is more "successful" than even Linden.

      For the first time in my entire hockey life I have thrown all but one superstition away. I wear a Canucks shirt while watching every game. It has been so hard to get rid of my rituals but I have proven to myself that they have no bearing on the outcome of any game.
