Wow that was Brutal. Girardi showed me tonight what a good Manager can do when he reads the game properly.
Zaun for Manager been saying it for 2 years, he just knows the game so well, like him or hate him he knows the game.

So far watching the game today in the 3rd inning right now, first I have to say TRAVIS is hurting this team defensively big time, as good as his bat is, those defensive mistakes are happening way to often. Already putting a lot of blame on Gibbons if the Jays lose this game by a run or 2, he just really sucks big time, doesn't even know how to coach small ball it's ridiculous when he tries and he sucks still at it.

Last night's loss sucked, but someone needs to clear this up. Pillar made a mistake in the outfield it hurt us big time, can't hate Pillar because he rarely makes those mistakes, but that mistake cost us the game. Also Grilli should of been out of the inning when the score was 5-4, he struck out McCann because he threw a strike but the stupid ump called it a ball would of been 3 outs instead, he walks then Headley hits the HR 7-4 now. If the ump calls that pitch a strike Jays are down 5-4 and would of won the game in the 9th 6-5. I don't blame Grilli one second for the loss yesterday, Pillar and the bad ump cost us the game.

It's not simply Dickey's request that Thole catches him, it's a built in off day for Martin. Gives the legs a rest and he was hurting the thumb on his catching hand getting handcuffed by the knuckleball.
Last time I checked it was Dickey's request to have Thole catch him, that's the only reason why Thole is here.... Well now Navarro is here to catch Estrada, that gives Martin 2 days off for every 5 games.

Someone in the Jays organization needs to step up and say enough is enough if Dickey really wants to pitch here still or not, and by that I mean telling him Thole will not be your catcher anymore. Thole brings nothing to the jays offensively, and we need guys in the lineup who can hit. Enough is enough if this organization is really committed to winning.

Also #99 Aaron Judge for the Yanks, don't know much about him, but he looks like a young Arod, and looks like he has been on roids before or will be eventually lol.

Typical Dickey day pitching today. Jay's start the game scoring a run, getting the momentum early, but lose all momentum because Dickey and Thole BLOW.

so does Tepera,,,write this one off
This bullpen just scares me to much in playoffs.
Might want to add if we make the playoffs....

God get Liriano out of there, he looks like crap pitching.
Wow go figure...

Donaldsons hit should of been a home run that came off his bat hard and how it landed and the arc it went off his bat, didn't make sense how it came straight down then bounced over the wall.

The Jays need to watch this video before every game imo, and every time Bautista hits that home run I get a huge smile for the bat flip just epic!

Grilli is literally becoming my favorite player on this team, just his emotion out there after he does his job is freaking awesome, gets me pumped when I see him so pumped and excited.

Why Thole is catching is ridiculous especially with Dickey not pitching, that run scored because Thole sucks, Gibbons is an idiot.

When people make a topic in a discussion board already and write at the end of their topic title (Discuss or Discussion) NO REALLY??????

Cecil is done, send him down a young lefty has a better chance at this point. Wish the cheap @$$ Jays went after Chapman, that's a lefty a team like this needs.
Overall brutal series just pathetic to lose to bottom feeders, as bad as our bullpen is, the bats were just trash this series they are to blame. Only good thing I got from today's game was Upton was seeing the ball great, and looked dangerous at the plate all game, good sign for him, still think he should be leading off.

Sucks that the bullpen coughed two games up, but this teams inability to get add-on runs is frustrating. Can't expect the bullpen to be perfect every single night, but it seems they have to be for this team to win.
This was a playoff like series and bullpen blew the games, you can't expect the team to always be up 5 runs a game to support your crap bullpen. We know with this team we can't expect our bullpen to be perfect every night that's why playoffs is going to be scary. But the amount of games the bullpen has cost this team this year already is ridiculous, your giving the bullpen way to much credit.
-
This series was a great example of what playoff baseball will be like, and just goes to show this team will struggle in playoffs because they will be close games and they can't seem to learn how to play small ball, and rely on bullpen. If the Jays aren't hitting home runs in playoffs, hate to say it, but I don't see them winning they will struggle in close games, as much as I hope I'm wrong and they prove me wrong it's hard to hope that with their track record.

I predict Orton wins because of the return of *spoiler* don't want to jinx it
PM me with spoiler interested to know spoiler. Heard rumors of Undertaker return maybe, but think his beef is more with Lesner, and of course Goldberg showing up but his beef is with Lesner and Seth Rollins as well now, sounds like Goldberg wants Seth first then wants Lesner. I don't see Lesner losing to Orton tbh, especially when Undertaker was made to lose, I don't see Lesner allowing him to lose to Orton. Lesner would only allow him losing to a superstar as big and powerful as himself, not someone smaller imo.

With the recent Goldberg talk and Lesner talk, I wonder if Goldberg will show up tonight. Would be perfect especially if Lesner wins, and then Goldberg challenges Lesner after.....

Wow if EE hits a grand slam here man that would be awesome!!!

Big opportunity here

Honestly I would normally say no at this time of the year and where they are, but because I hate Gibbons so much I am 100% for it.
You always think how it would affect the players emotionally, but I really think the players would be in much better spirits if Gibbons was gone. I know they're losing right now, but all year the dugout hasn't looked like a happy confident group in there. Players are telling Gibbons how they want the lineup because they don't like how he does it, we saw Gibbons and Donaldson get into it earlier this year.
Gibbons has been in verbal arguments with ex players in the past when he had his first stint with the Jays, mostly pitchers because he would always pull guys as soon as they got into a little trouble never trusted his players.
Always thought it was stupid to bring Gibbons back for a 2nd stint with the Jays especially since he failed in his first stint as Manager, just made no sense. He only has a good record in his 2nd stint as a Jay because he's had a STACKED line up infront of him, besides the pitching.
