Fair enough but Oilers need help in net and on D in a bad way and no one is going to help them for cheap, they have to trade a forward and not have salary come back. Even with the dead cap there they still come out ahead cap wise. How do they solve their issues without trading a forward?

Trade #1 To Edm: Halak To Van: RNH Oilers do this because it gives them the help in net they desperately need and saves them some cap to get help on D Canucks do this because RNH can help replace the offense they will lose when they trade MIller for same cap hit, also signed through the rest of his prime. Trade #2 To NYR: MIller To Van: Schnieder, Kravstov, 1st NYR does this because they get a player who will help them contend for the next 2 playoffs at a good cap hit and move on from a disgruntled prospect and well you have to give to get and Miller wont be had for cheap. Van does this for the futures involved. Flame away!

medical exemptions are fine but they need to be legitimate, I wouldn't support religious exemptions though. I don't even support mandatory military service to be honest, I'm just saying that any exemptions need to be legit.

Based on your experience it would seem that things are very different depending on the country you live in. I never said I was against the idea of mandatory military service, just the idea of exemptions for some because those with the means to do so will exploit those exemptions.

Who are you to say what people should do with their time? Playing video games is a hobby, maybe you have hobbies that other people think are a waste of time.

If you are going that route there cant be any exemptions. Wealthy and connected people will exploit it, suddenly all of their kids will be farmers.
