  1. IMO if he is healthy he will be great. But as far as health goes I think it is a larger concern than needs to be. He is a QB who has taken a lot of hits before it is just his ACL that has been the recent issue. A common injury many players especially QB's come back from it. It just seemed he came back to fast and it wasn't ready. But as of now it has been over a year since he injured it again. He is also playing behind a strong offensive line and one of the best run happy offenses supporting him. He is also reading the defenses fast and getting rid of the ball fast. IMO pending a freak incident he should be healthy. I don't think his ACL will just give out. Eagles look legit though I am expecting them to content in the NFC. Outscoring the opponents 86-17 in the first half of all 3 games combined when most starters played. It is preseason but they look almost flawless with the big guns.
  2. Just preseason but good lord Sam Bradford looked dirty good. His accuracy is elite level.
  3. 49ers have probably had one of the worst offseasons ever. Though I don't really feel bad for them they were playing with fire for quite some time now.
  4. I havent played Madden since 2008. Tell me what is different about it if anything? BTW I prefer to sim it in franchise mode. Also I will eat my crow on the Bradford/Suggs thing though I still find the rule to be odd.
  5. That is the exact reason he could lose his job, because he is in the spotlight as the face of the organization. Hockey is a business that is largely marketing. Winning is good for business of course but throwing your full support making the face of your company that of a convicted rapist... well not so much great for business. Rapists/Sex Offenders are seen as negatively as you can get by society (far far worse than hitting a woman). The negative additional attention will be far worse than what Rice got. Potential sponsors and endorsers may back out, nonstop protests for the rest of his career, much of their own city and fans will not support it. Even if he goes through all the steps and says the right things people are not very accepting of convicted sex offenders. How often does a convicted rapist get a job and see his coworkers embrace him at any point even if he is nice to them for years? IMO if Kane is convicted of rape the organization will cut ties with him because of the extreme public response for it. Rice is in a league full of all sorts of terrible criminal activity and was elite himself and now with some player support he is still struggling just to get a 2nd chance after taking all the right steps. Selling a convicted rapist though in current day... I just don't think it is possible xD As far as Rice goes I will admit it will be hard for him to have a worse season than he did in 2013. Being out for a year could have him out of football shape but a better O-line and health is a plus. With that said he is still at that carry count where many big time RB's start to decline (of course there are a good many examples of RBs who went well over that carry count). IMO I still feel his top tier days are over and at best he will be an average RB but if a team is desperate he is low risk and high reward.
  6. I'm not sure why you guys think Kane's job/career is safe if he is found guilty. Especially if the details come out to be extremely disturbing. As for Ray Rice IMO his prime days are over. Modern RBs have short shelf lives and usually start to decline fast and hard around 1500 carries/late 20's with the exception of a few exceptions. Rice is going on 29 with 1430 carries and was unimpressive his last NFL season playing 15 games but only mustering 660 yards on 3.1 yards per carry.
  7. The loss of Nelson hurts but the Packers were the #1 offense in the NFL last year averaging 30.4 points per game. He was important but he hardly made that offense. They will still be one of the better offenses in the NFL without him. Seattle would have been the favorites in the NFC entering the season ether way but I don't think they are a sure thing at all. The way they got to the Super Bowl last year was ugly and maybe even a little bit lucky. The first game they played was against the Panthers who had all of 7 wins all season. Pretty much a free win yet the Panthers kept it a 17-10 game into the 4th quarter. They then beat an impressive team in Green Bay 28-22 but this was also an ugly game. Rodgers had 2 INTs and under 200 yards passing. None of Nelson or Lacy did much to help. But Wilson helped the Packers by throwing 4 INTs. They managed to avoid Dallas who beat them already and Detroit who had the #2 defense in the NFL. Basically Seattle didn't look like a scary team they showed a lot of flaws that could likely cost them if they keep it up. IMO I could see 6 teams emerge in the NFC as threats to knock them off.
  8. Te be honest I think Suggs looks like a bonehead on all levels in regards to that play. Outside of the fact that he completely misread the play he is now running his mouth telling people to, "learn the rules." A remark that makes utterly no sense considering Suggs was in fact penalized for that hit, not because he hit Bradford, but because he targeted Bradford's knees. A rule that has been around 6-7 years now as I am sure everyone remembers it as the, "Brady Rule." If anyone needs to learn the rules it is the Ravens who racked up 17 penalties in that game alone. I am not worried about Bradford though. Suggs hit was illegal I doubt the division rivals are simply going to say hey lets just start taking illegal runs at all our rivals knees and I don't think Bradford is fragile because of the Williams hit. It was a big hit anyone would have felt that for a few plays but Bradford popped back up and lead them for a TD. Plus keep in mind the NFC East unfortunately wasn't exactly a division full of menacing defenses. The highest ranked YPG team was the Cowboys and they were only 19th overall in the NFL (28th in sacks). The Eagles (who obviously don't play themselves) and the Giants were the only 2 teams that got after the QB well (Ravens were #2 in sacks for reference). Yet the Giants still didn't get after the Eagles QB's much given how lopsided those games were and Greg Hardy should help the Cowboys 28th ranked sack defense but keep in mind he will miss the 1st game due to suspension and even when he returns he has to face Jason Peters one of the better OL in the NFL. New season will bring new stats but I am not overly worried about Sam's health just because he took 1 big hit (something that will happen to every QB). QB's who get hit a lot are the ones you have to worry about health wise so unless that becomes a trend no reason to worry, he is a QB who has played behind some lines in the past where he has taken a lot of hits and managed decently health wise so I don't think he is overly fragile. He just had that unfortunate ACL tear followed by that bad rehab stint. As long as it is healed now he should be fine (it has been over a year now).
  9. Just preseason of course but the mystery Eagles have looked promising. 2 games so far outscoring the opposing teams a combined 76-27 and 47-3 in the first half of each game. Although only 1 drive Bradford gave me a really good feeling.
  10. One of the comments... "They put more effort in this commercial than the game." Seems about right xD
  11. Fantasy football drafts should always be the 1st week of September as the preseason ends
  12. The air conditioning is sexist.

  13. I had to contact Customer Support. It was no help. The set up is embarrassingly brutal. You can only change your Xbox Live email on a 360 (not on PC or Xbox One) and in doing that you can only change your email if it complies with a laundry list of rules which I apparently did not qualify for. The only advice was wait 30 days and try again because the fake account never logged into xbox before which required a 30 day wait. Ultimately I had no choice but to just change my PSN email to my old email so I could link my accounts. Took 2 mins to change that email xD
  14. Does anyone know how to delete xbox accounts or change the emails they are connected to? I have never found a set up so ridiculous.... So I made an Xbox account who knows over 10 years ago on some old email and just left it. I no longer use that email though. My current email I use, lucky me, seems to have a spam bot account or some random fake account no one has ever used linked to it (certainly not a name I would have ever made). I want to rid myself of that account and link my current email to my account. But apparently this is not an easy task to manage. It seems that Microsoft, linking everything, has me literally changing my email address but the Xbox account stays linked. Even customer service is bad and confused as the woman told me all I could do was change the fake accounts email to another fake email (that I would have to make) then etc etc but didn't seem to understand how to do it. I feel like buying Apple products now out of spite.

  16. Guess I am just lucky Console its like every other match. PC it is like once a week. Gaben shizz for the win https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2eXM3_93pU&spfreload=10
  17. I have played Dota (not regularly) though actually never played league. But I am referring to the general. Like I said I know it happens on PC to but in general when I do matchmaking on PC I tend to have a decent group. With console no matter what the game you will regularly be playing with very young sounding kids. Not all of them are bad but you will often find yourself with ones who just have no filter. I say this as someone with an xbox one and ps4 who also had a 360 and ps3. Sometimes I would even get angry voice messages on them from everything from taking to many kills, not reviving, or not killing enough. If that makes sense. I believe it is because most parents find it easier to just get their kids consoles. So you tend to deal with a lot of young kids on those. Basically I just mean I feel the percentages of dealing with that are lower on PC. That is my opinion though based on personal experience.
  18. Kinda like said it is mainly just trolling. Only some people take it way to seriously. Master race and PC stuff is usually just humorous. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yr2GdRBDOmU To be honest though beyond savings and mods I liked PC better because the people tend to be a little bit more chill. Like I can't go on Xbox live without seeing a squeaky voice calling someone a fa**ot and a Ni**er and screaming and threatening others. It happens on every platform but with console it was just so excessive I always played in closed parties or with everyone muted xD
  19. That is exactly why he is overrated. He is a 1 trick pony who sells himself as a #1 WR. He made a stink over this for years with the Eagles until they made him among the highest paid WR's in the NFL. He then had a great year 1 year later and came back demanding more money before getting released. A lot of NFL players at every position have 1 trick talents just because they do that well doesn't make them the best among their position. DeSean benefits because people forget that a the end of the day a touchdown is worth the same amount of points whether from 80 yards or 5. Having a guy who breaks one every few games but hinders you every other play doesn't help the team. Plus DeSean is stoppable and all good teams know how to stop him. Have you ever looked at his playoff stats? http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/11283/seasontype/3/desean-jackson ^if you never watched him in the playoffs.
  20. Yeah still one of the higher scoring offenses in the NFL scoring more points after people thought losing the "Jackson Threat" would harm them. Keep in mind a lot of those offensive stars in the 2nd year weren't on the team or playing in the first year such as Maclin and Sproles while many of those who had great years that 1st time slipped up a bit such as Cooper and McCoy. Jackson is a 1 trick pony. To his credit he does that 1 trick as well as anybody but he lacks everywhere else. He runs poor routes, takes plays off, doesn't cut across the middle, doesn't block, etc. Outside of him catching the deep ball he is practically plays like Todd Pinkston. Cousins and McCoy aren't very good but keep in mind they still played better than RG3 who was the comparison. RG3 still played 9 games this year and in those games they averaged 16.7 points per game which is lower than both Cousins and McCoy. Kind of like I said before Jackson is a boom or bust type player and while I would take him over Cooper he wouldn't have made a difference those last games. They missed the playoffs because they couldn't play defense. They could have used a defensive secondary those final games as opposed to leaving Fletcher on one on one coverage with Dez while Williams complains that he is to tired. D-Jax is overrated IMO.
  21. Don't be hatin on Mime cause he is ballin ^.^ Though what are the computer specs? Ultra should be pretty demanding. I literally just played mine on Low xD
  22. "I don't feel no one can stop me." - DeSean Jackson Dat grammar doe XD Random little stat. Eagles Offense With Jackson (2013): 27.6 PPG Without Jackson (2014): 29.6 PPG Redskin Offense Without Jackson (2013): 20.9 PPG With Jackson (2014): 18.8 PPG
  23. Just because a lot of people jump on something doesn't mean it's true. Once upon a time people killed each other for being witches. The race card being played is stupid. Chip hasn't said or done anything that could be taken as racist. All he did was get rid of a bunch of players then Stephen A. Smith concluded the only logical explanation was that Chip was racist for cutting black players and not Riley Cooper. Then McCoy jumped on the bandwagon then Tra Thomas and now Boykin is. The flaw in this is that logic is stupid and riddled with holes. Riley Cooper wasn't cut because he was signed to a large deal the previous year before Chip Kelly ever had control over the roster. His contract still being new would actually cost the Eagles more money against the cap if they cut him. It is literally cheaper to keep him on the roster another year. People also forget he was in Chip's doghouse most of last season. In addition Chip didn't just cut black players. Nick Foles: Confirmed White Todd Herremans: Confirmed White Evan Mathis: Confirmed White James Casey: Confirmed White Todd Herreman's remarked on it himself.. In addition it isn't like Chip is replacing all these black athletes with white ones. 5 of the 6 drafted players the Eagles took were black. Murray is Black. Mathews is half black. Gore who they tried to sign was black. Maxwell is black. Thurmond is black. etc etc. I don't see it as a problem with black culture. Keep in mind their are also still black players on the team who have "black culture" and everyone he released was given a specific reason. The better players like McCoy it was style related. The same reason Foles is gone. Here is Chip Kelly not bonding with black culture man Jason Peters The whole situation is stupid with a few butthurt former players still mad they weren't wanted.
