I’m a Victoria grizz fan too and yes I wanted them to take newhook... however, he didn’t exactly help his case playing in the BCHL.. it was hard to tell exactly how good he was in that league, it’s great he went to Boston college, because the BCHL wasn’t enough to prove if he would had been worth a first rounder.. the Avs took a shot in the dark with him probably because they had a pick earlier in the 1st round. As for Canucks scouts... I’d say they’re doing just fine
