  1. Tell me about it, I was in sitting in front of some Avs fans at the game in November and they couldn't get off Quinn's third leg.
  2. I don't know where to start with this. I don't like how the D remains virtually untouched. 1. Dadonov is past his prime and we're giving up our future also we're not in a position to be taking cap dumps. 2. Miller trade is close, I'd add Brandon Carlo just to get me to listen. So Carlo Debrusk Lysell and a 1st or they can take a hike. 3. BB should be traded for a RD not a 3C imo We should be solidifying our D maybe use BB + To pry Pelech off the Islanders or a similar right side defensive D
  3. You sure about that? Most GM's would take TT at 4M than Brock at 7M
  4. My theory is there's a bunch of factors that could've contributed to this. 1. Injury (back/wrist) - His shot hasn't been as good as his rookie season (slower release, lower accuracy and velocity) He could yet recover and if his shot comes back look out. 2. Weight Gain - He put on 20lbs since his rookie year and it definitely affects his footspeed which wasn't great to begin with. ( In the clip above you see him walk Strahlman and snipe one, he doesn't have the speed for that anymore ) 3. Opponents adjusting to his play style - He definitely has less room out there and hasn't adjusted ( The last goal of that clip shows what he can do to create room for himself to get his shot off. 4. Consistency issue - He's had consistency issues since his college days where he would be dominant one year and mediocre the next, maybe he finds that consistency. One other thing that I noticed is that most of his goals is coming from 5-10 feet of the net ( not necessarily a bad thing) and not beating goalies from far out like before. The coaches also aren't using him in a shooting position but more as a net front presence leads me to believe he's not 100%
  5. He also sticks up for his teammates can play PK and a stanley cup winner on top of providing 25 Goals and 50 + Points.
  6. Toffoli is a more complete player that provides about the same offence. That can change if BB is a late bloomer but for now TT > BB
  7. I wouldn't, if we're trading established young NHL players I do NOT want picks as a centrepiece of a trade. The prospect won't make any impact for a while either. We need an established young player preferably a D if not just keep him. Better than getting a low first and a project.
  8. I seem to recall EP dangling through MTL and sniping one. Not many players in the league can do that. You think first year Petey is gone but what about second year Petey where he was basically PPG and was over PPG in the playoffs. What about third year Petey where he almost finished PPG again before the injury. This year he admitted he was battling injury early on and now he's had 21PTS in the last quarter 19G looks like a superstar centre to me.
  9. Think the book on him is 5 hole? I’ve been seeing teams go five hole on him a lot recently and score.
  10. This is why we need to go out and get a player like Delauriers for our bottom 6. Only have to pay a third but the effect on the players would be huge. Also Blue and green are generally calming colours, the black red and yellow is way more aggressive looking.
  11. Excellent post, His consistency has been an issue since his college days he could dominate one year then drop off the next and I hope he can figure it out. To answer your question I think the average BB6 lies somewhere between 20-21 and this year ( Just my opinion). I think he will average around 30-30 ( if healthy, he's been good the last couple seasons which is a good sign ) but can have good years where he can hit 70+ points and down years around 50-55 pts. I highly doubt his performance this year is the norm, the only problem is the QO.
  12. If that’s the case then why doesn’t anybody choose Anaheim LA SJ vgk Florida or tampa bay they’re all better places to live.
  13. Why does every damn free agent sign with NYR. Hate that team so much, may all their prospects bust.
  14. That’s true I didn’t realize that you posted on the 22nd. I see BB6 is your favourite player do you notice that his shooting is different than his rookie seasons in terms of the speed of his release or about the same? I thought he had 40 goal potential as well but feel like the speed of his release and foot speed has changed since his rookie year.
  15. 13 in 33 is closer to his career average 30. You gotta be rounding way up to say he’s nearly at a 40 goal pace
  16. Hes has plenty of time to adjust and he hasn’t/can’t.
  17. Are you sure that’s correct? He’s not the best goal scorer but I can already recall more than that just off the top of my head.
