The people that don't mute their microphones if they discuss sensitive things around their AI's are dimwits who pretty much deserve any possible consequences that come about as a result.

I don't believe in pandering to people's stupidity so I can't expect Google/Amazon/Apple to do the same.

Amazon doesn't even hide that they can record and turn everything you say into text.  It's an actual feature right on the app.

Full disclosure:  I have both Google's and Amazon's AI's.  I live alone and when I have people over, I rarely discuss anything sensitive.  If I were to, I'd unplug all of my AI's from their power sources.

For all of the other times, if the people at Amazon and Google want to listen in on my "adult time" with guests they can feel free.  I wouldn't even mind a copy of it for ego boosting purposes.
