@smithers joe  I wouldn't be upset if they did, bit it would be a waste if the Sabres get it because they don't need it and they'd likely just trade it away, I'd almost guarantee that.  You can't have 2 #1 picks and Eichel on your team and expect to ice a cap compliant competitive squad.

Besides, I don't think the Sabres are going to even finish bottom 5 this season.  They're definitely going to be a lottery team, but I think they'll finish high enough that winning the lottery would be a pipe dream.

I have been saying this for some time now,a 1OA pick would help this rebuild immensely,you can talk "TANK" all you want but in recent years it all comes down to shire luck at the "LOTTO DRAFT".

Several better teams than the Canucks have had better draft picks because our team has no luck.We certainly have not had an abundance of 1OA picks in the years we have been in the league.I see that we have had one and then I see we have never had any,nevertheless it comes down to luck.

We need a few things to go our way for a change,THE CANUCKS DESERVE IT AND ALL OF B.C. DESERVES IT.

A Stanley Cup win for the Canucks would be sensational for B.C and Canada.
