  1. I think they HAVE to bring back that dominant Perry - Getzlaf - Benn line from the WC last year or the year before, utterly dominant. TBH, I'm shocked that Hamhuis made it, he's been sub par this year. I though Staal was a lock and his linemate Skinner a possibility, I guess team Canada isn't rewarding the guys who show up for the WC every year. Kunitz - Crosby - Stamkos Tavares - Toews - Sharp Perry - Getzlaf - Benn Duchene - Bergeron - Carter Marleau, Nash Keith - Weber Bouwmeester - Doughty Subban - Pietrangelo Hamhuis, Vlasic Price Luongo Smith
  2. And that's the end of the second, hopefully the refs show up for the 3rd.
  3. Dat feel when Sestito is the only guy that shows up. Great game by Tom.

      up until the 3rd, things were smooth sailing..just a few miscue's .

Tanev was great, Richardson was hungry, Bieksa played gritty i thought the whole team battled hard

  4. My goal in life is to land a Czech wife. I too have noticed how nasty the presentation girls are. They also seem to be handing out visitor guides to Malmo, which isn't much of a gift for player of the game. Honestly, seems more of an incentive NOT to be player of the game.
  5. Corrado would make 4 RD, I'm thinking there's an outise chance it could be Tommernes, or Andersson. Corrado is the safe bet of course.
  6. Great job so far! Just a minor correction, Grigorenko had 1 g 2 A for a total of 3 points, bringing my day one total to 7 points. Source http://www.worldjunior2014.com/ bottom right stat leader area.
  7. Zadorov and Grigorenko putting up points for me, Paterson with the win but we'll see if he keeps the starting job.
  8. Merry Christmas CDC! From your captain, Ossi.

  9. Love that pump up in the 2nd by Torts, what a guy. Motivation that AV seriously lacked, all he had was snark and using the media to put his players down. I think we got a gem in this dog lover of ours.
  10. Lol, you're such a clown. Once again you dodge my question, treating this like a 100 level philosphy class, from which even then you ignore the basis of the argument as to whether or not it happened - not this crackhead tangent you've taken it on as 'proof' relying upon media coverage, from which your early posts argue the opposite. Honestly, I've moved on, I've been watching the game while you've posted twice when it's on. Maybe you should go back to the 100 pages in the Luongo threads from which you argue Luongo would be the inevitable trade. Look how that worked out. I have continued and will continue to argue what he actually mouthed, what we can see he mouthed, with Gagner in the vicinity was along the line of "what's that? (pointing to chin)". To obfuscate this with tangents of media coverage, then asking me to provide an official source from the Oiler's (which we both know how ludicrous this is) doesn't actually approach the matter of what he said. So watch the video again, pretend that you have had some social interaction in the last week, in which you would have to be looking at the person speaking - maybe then you'll realize he was chirping Gagner. At present you seem to just think it was a scrum at the bench from which nothing was said, or maybe you think he was speaking to Gadzic, which even then the chirp could still work. Maybe you should write a blog about it.
  11. How about you use a little common sense and try to figure out who he might actually be saying "what's that" to. But I suppose you're right and the opinion of some online homerism trumps that of respected sports channels. It's a scrum at the end of the game, if you honesty think that either team would have an official response then you're dimmer than I thought.
  12. Just because some people want to plug their ears and stomp their feet, doesn't make it right. You're the one ignore facts, what logical explanation would Kassian have to point to his chin area and mouth "what's that?". https://vine.co/v/h2XPFgU3661/embed http://blogs.theprovince.com/2013/12/13/the-provies-oilers-vs-canucks/ The Province thinks so, sportsnet thinks so, and I'm sure at some point tonight Cherry will be all over it. All players have faults, I by no means am saying it's right, I am saying we certainly need someone who isn't afraid to scrape the bottom of the dignity barrel.
  13. Lol, exactly this. Poetica too was way off, he's chirping at Gagner, so blatant. Just accept it and move on, we need someone like Kass on this team, taking the high road hasn't worked historically.
  14. Kass WAS chirping Gagner, and considering the run by from Perron/Gagner, he was justified in getting a chirp off. Kass clearly was stating 'what's that (point to chin area)", mocking Gagner's facial protection. I don't even care that he did it, this is the guy we've wanted for ages, it's this kind of sociopath we were largely missing in the Bruins final, where snark and goonery won over skill and wit. Kass might be a sociopath, but he's OUR sociopath, and I'm happy to have a guy that actually enjoys the physical component of the game.
  15. 2 G 2 A tonight, 11 pts since joining otters. Shows you how much he was carrying the Bulls now that he's on a decent team.
  16. I'll be taking Marko Dano of team Slovakia. Marko Dano - Mikhail Grigorenko - Sebastian Collberg Rasmus Ristolainen - Nikita Zadorov Jake Paterson
  17. I'll still take the Knights over the Otters. They have experience from last year's mem cup, and the offensive weapons in Domi, Horvat, Tierney, Anderson, and the returning blue liner in Zadorov. If Maata didn't make the Pens they'd be even more stacked. Otters are good but they're still young. I think the Generals deserve to be in this conversation as well, with Laughton/Cassels leading the charge.
  18. _______ - Grigorenko - Collberg Zadorov - Ristolainen Paterson The All-Name Team is quickly shaping up.
  19. It's only been 2 years since he was drafted. We retain rights for a minimum of 4.
  20. Man, Cassels with a beast comeback after injury, 6 assists in 2 games? He's money. Also, I think you should consider including Pathrik Westerholm (Vesterholm sometimes) into the European prospects tab. He's currently leading the Allsvenkan (Sweden's AHL) in scoring with 34 points (18G 16A) in 27 games. He's of the 2011 draft year that has seen gems in Jensen, Corrado, Grenier, Tommernes and now Westerholm. Went unnoticed to me as well
  21. I'll be taking the moose, Rasmus Ristolainen
