Had Jones not tried to cheat, it would have been a bit better. Even though the fight was mediocre, I enjoyed the Lesnar fight. He panics when he gets hit but when he does the hitting, you just wait for the people that he hits to take a nap. He had a lot of ring rust and got tired fast. They had four of the best female fighters in the world, the two best featherweights currently fighting in that division, a grudge match that included the most talented fighter in UFC history (Jones), one of the best bantamweights in Dillishaw who could become one of the top pound-for-pound fighters in the next few years... and the draw of Brock Lesnar. Down by the River Posted July 10, 2016 Share Posted July 10, 2016 On an unrelated note, although GSP is my favorite fighter of all time, I feel like he has hinted at comebacks and now said he wants to come back solely to get his name mentioned, keep sponsors invested, etc. Must be nice to get paid like a million dollars just to do cool workouts for a year. All he has is the power right and looks for it the entire fight. Only reason it went to the ground was because Tate just went down after not being able to continue to stand vs Nune or she would have been dropped or the referee would have stopped it. Also Lesnar was never going to go toe to toe vs Hunt. You fight to someone's weakness not their strengths, Brock is a great wrestler, Hunt can't win a fight that goes to the ground.
