Harbinger
This could be the shortest ufc in history.
_Kick_Save_
GSP vs. Alves should be good, but i really dont want it for ufc 100, for the big 1.0.0 it should be the biggest fight in history and an anderson silva GSP fight would make ufc fans cry with joy. I know Alves is next in line but come on this fight is to great.

Raoul Duke
Been a while since we've talked UFC. Some updated cards..... UFC 96: March 7 in Columbus Keith Jardine vs Rampage Jackson is pretty much the only fight worth talking about. I guess Shane Carwin vs Gabrel Gonzaga has potential, but this card just SUCKS! Other fights: - Matt Hamil vs Mark Munoz - boring - Matt Brown vs Pete Sell - could be a slugfest, but does anynone care? - Gray Maynard vs Jim Miller - ugh.... yawn.... UFC 97: April 18 in Montreal! - Anderson Silva vs Thales Lietes - meh.... should be against Nate the Great - Chuck Liddell vs Mauricio Rua - trying to ressyrect Chuck?? Methinks Shogun will be ready for this one.... - Brian Stann vs Krzysztof Soszynski - token boring Canadian bout - Cheick Kongo vs Antoni Hardonk - pumped for this, Kongo is fun to watch - Luiz Cane vs Steve Cantwell - MY BOY LUIZ!!! IMO, the future of the LHW division! - the undercard also features Nate Quarry vs Jason McDonald, as well as the return of Denis Kang and David Loiseau UFC 98: May 23 in Las Vegas Huuuuuuuuuge HW Unification fight between Brock Lesnar and Frank Mir. I think brock takes it this time. Also..... - Matt Hughes vs Matt Sera - the rivalry from TUF Season 6 finally gets to happen - Sean Sherk vs Frank Edgar - great LW matchup - more to come.... UFC 99: June 13 in Cologne, Germany Soooooo..... the main event was supposed to be BJ Penn vs Kenny Florian for the LW title, but apparently June is just too early for litlle b!tch, I mean, BABY Jay Penn to fight. http://www.sherdog.com/news/news/penn-want...er-return-16319 Instead, the new main event could be Wanderlei Silva vs Rich Franklin. Wow, whoopeee!!! I actually can no longer stand BJ. I used to respect him as a fighter, but now he's just shown his true BABY colours. Other fights on this card: - Cain Velasquez vs Heath Herring - stoked for this one... IMO, Cain is the future HW champ! - Marcus Davis vs Dan Hardy - could be very entertaining, I hope Hardy knocks the poser's a$$ out And then of course we have....... UFC 100: July 11 in Las Vegas Just booked my package through Allegiant Air and now just waiting for presale tickets to go on sale!!! Can't wait!!! Apparently, they want to make this the greatest PPV of all-time. Judging by the first two announced matches, it's on it's way.... - GSP vs Thiago Alves for the WW title. GSP..... nuff said. Gonna be SICK! But this will be his biggest test yet, aside from Jon Fitch IMO. - Dan Henderson vs Michael Bisping - for the #1 MW contendership. I like Hendo in this one, and feel this will be an end to the grooming of The Count. - there are some other rumours, including the rescheduled BJ/Kenflo bout, a LHW title bout between Rashad and either Rampage or Machida, and Chuck/Anderson Regardless, I'll be there for UFC 100. And if you wanna go, I suggest you check out Allegiant Air right now! Their packages just went down in price big time!!
g_bassi13
UFC 96 looks pretty weak. I don't know if I could even sit through it with a card like that. That said, I'm already pumped for UFC 98, they don't need much else to round out the event.

This is another opportunity for Brock to prove himself worthy as champ.
HolyRollerNovocaine
Out of curiosity... how much are seats at an event?? I've heard in the thousands for anything within the first bowl and a couple hundred even up in the nosebleeds.
Raoul Duke
Out of curiosity... how much are seats at an event?? I've heard in the thousands for anything within the first bowl and a couple hundred even up in the nosebleeds. It all depends on wether or not you get them at face value. Yah, the lower bowl sections decrease from about $1000 to $750 to $500. Up top, they start at $300 I believe then go to $150 to $75/$50. After experiencing UFC 91 live, I can honestly tell you that just being there live is wroth it. That's why this time around I'm going to try and get the cheapest seats possible. There's big screens everywhere, and actually the last few rows aren't that far back. It's not like GM Place, much smaller. Apparently, Mandalay Bay's arena is even smaller more intimate than MGM Grand's. But I'm sure the prices will be a little heaftier for UFC 100. GarthButcher
Congo Lesnar would be a crazy fight. Clash of the titans. last time Congo fought, he destroyed the guy. The world needs to see Sivla GSP...that'd be the fight of the century. I actually can admit to having a man-crush on GSP. there, I said it. haha

Anderson is a much bigger fighter and IMO would probably knock GSP out. Aaaaaand, I don't really need to see that. I'm a firm believer of sticking to your weight class, and fighting the next top contender. Unfortunately, the UFC doesn't. If things were fair, Machida would be fighting Rashad next and Anderson would be fighting Marquardt.
Famous
Machida will fight Evans if Rampage loses this fight this weekend, since Dean of Mean won't fight his training partner. Also check out Dana's vlogs on youtube. They are amazing. A good insight to his daily life around UFC events.

Too bad when you hear Dana white speaking roughly 50% is out and out lies. 30 % is BS, 15% is nonsense. The last 4% is him saying this will be the greatest fight in history. And 1% is fact. If things were fair, Machida would be fighting Rashad next and Anderson would be fighting Marquardt. If you look at GSP's bulk and body fat percentage, it is difficult to believe that he couldn't gain weight in a much more effective and capable way than BJ (big joke) Penn. Although Machida is dangerous, Mr. Karate man it so boring to watch. The draw from Anderson v. GSP is in the contrast of Anderson's unique style, with GSP's unique preparation, athleticism and physical dominance. I'd take GSP, but that has a lot to do with my being a fan. It's the best fight, because it offers the biggest intrigue.
